Every songcord must have a last bead...

The sully family held onto the hand woven crate that held neteyams body. The kids stared down admiring the colorful flowers that surrounded their eldest brother.

A father protects,
                   It's what gives him meaning...

Neytiri began to sing "lie si oe neteyamur, nawma sa'nokur mìfa oeyä"

Tuk swam over to Elei wrapping her arms around her big sister as she sobbed into her chest. Elei sniffled and turned to look at Kiri who was crying silently. Elei reached out and grabbed kiris arm pulling her into the hug as well.

Loak on the other hand tried his best to hold it together for his family, so he didn't cry in that moment.

The people say that all energy is only borrowed...
And that one day you have to give it back

Aonung wrapped his arm around tsireya to comfort her as she cried mourning their friend neteyam. Roxto stood on the other side of tsireya with a frown as tears rolled down his cheeks.

Neytiri and Jake grabbed onto neteyams body as they swam under water to place him into the bright gold like sea grass.

Loak and the girls had their heads in the water crying as they seen their brother for the last time. Loaks red eyes closed as he screamed under water feeling like everything was his fault.

Eywa holds all of her children in her heart...
                                                Nothing is ever lost

Neytiri and Jake connected to the spirit tree to see their son once more.

Elei looked at all of her little siblings that were in her arms crying still. "Guys come on let's go to the spirit tree to see him okay?" She croaked trying to be the big sibling neteyam always was.

Kiri couldn't connect due to the risk of another seizure but loak went under water towards the spirit tree as tuk still had her arms wrapped tightly around Elei. "Tuktirey, come on I'll be by your side okay?" Elei reassured Tuk before they swam down to connect to the spirit tree.

Tuk grabbed her braid hesitantly as she looked at Elei once more. The girl nudged Tuk and gave her a small smile instantly calming her down as she connected to the spirit tree.

Elei didn't connect this time because she feared she would not make it out alive if she ever connected to the spirit tree again.

Back at the village...the clan held a small ceremony to celebrate the life of neteyam, he was one of the people so the clan was saddened by the loss of him.

Elei was sitting with her family when she saw aonung wink at her before disappearing into the crowd. Elei stood up and excused herself "I'm going to go to bed I'm exhausted" she lied before squeezing through the crowd of people so she could follow aonung.

Once they were far enough from everyone Elei grabbed Aonungs upper arm causing him to stop and face her. "Ma aonu I missed you" she whispered before standing on her tippy toes and giving him a quick peck on the lips.

Aonung smirked before turning serious again. "My love..you know how much you mean to me right?" He murmured while cupping her face with both of his hands.

Elei nodded while smiling weakily "yes, yes I do..why do you ask?" She wondered what was wrong with him. Aonungs jaw clenched as his thumb gently caressed the girls cheek. "I want to make sure you'll know how much you mean to me no matter how long we an apart" he mumbled feeling his heart begin to race.

Elei tilted her head while keeping her eyes glued on to his. "What do you mean no matter how long we are apart? Are you like breaking up with me? I mean that's kinda impossible" Eleis tone was dripping with sarcasm. Aonungs eyes shifted to the stars in the dark sky of pandora as he avoided her soft gaze.

"You must go back to the forest for now" he calmly stated resembling his father's calm personality. Eleis eyes blinked rapidly "w-what do you mean aonung? Shut the fuck up don't joke with me right now" she laughed but stopped when she seen he was serious.

"Why do you want me to leave aonung?" She asked with a puzzled look smeared across her face. Aonungs heart cracked when she stopped calling him the cute little nick name she made. "I have a duty to fulfill within my family but when I figure things out and gain the respect of our people I will have you by my side again" he explained slowly like she was some idiot.

Elei backed away from him while looking him up and down "your family? No aonung they are no longer your family, our son and I are your family!" She shouted as tears began to blur her vision.

Aonung placed his three fingers on his lips before roughly blowing air out of his mouth and flinging his fingers away from his lips "if the clan finds out I have mated with you and have gotten you with child then my title will get taken from me for I have dishonored iyas grandmothers dying wish as a trade for saving my mothers life" he blandly explained while kicking the sand.

Elei nodded her head slowly as she backed away from the man she was madly in love with "who even are you huh?"  She whispered as tears streamed down her cold cheeks.  Aonung cocked his head to the side "what do you mean?" He asked while stepping closer to her closing the gap between them.

Elei shrugged her shoulders while staring at his face admiring every single detail, "uh I don't know, I thought you were the next tough leader of the people but turns out you're a whole wuss!" Elei laughed hoarsely.

Aonung shook his head "Elei please do not start this right now" he pleaded. Elei sucked her teeth and looked around while laughing like a madwoman "wow aonung is so tough and scary yet he hides his mate and child from everyone because the clan doesn't respect him yet" she mimicked his voice while flexing her small muscles.

Aonung shook his head and closed his eyes "I have a duty to fulfill within the clan ma elei I hope you will understand one day" Aonungs accent thickened a bit. Eleis eyes widened as she bent over and laughed loudly "oh my eywa it feels like I am being outcast"  she snorted before clasping a hand over her mouth.

Aonung rolled his eyes before responding"you are being outcast for now"  Elei stopped laughing when she heard his words. She couldn't even look at him in that moment "how dare you outcast your own family?" She whispered while backing up until she bumped into someone's hard chest.

She turned around and seen roxto standing there with a saddened look on his face. "Take her to the forest and do not return until our son is of age to properly hunt his first fish" aonung ordered.

Elei turned to look at aonung once more "you don't love me do you aonu?" Her small dimple only aonung knew about poked out as she frowned. Aonung stared at her with a hurt look evident in his eyes. "I do love you ma yawne that tis why I am doing this to assure you will be accepted amongst the people in a safe way" he explained.

Before she could respond roxto scooped her up and began carrying her away. Elei kicked and screamed as loud as she could "get the hell off of me! Aonung I'm scared please don't leave me!" She cried out as she fought to escape roxtos grip.

When Elei realized aonung wasn't going to come save her she fell silent and gave up on trying to fight her way out of roxtos arms, plus he was way more jacked than he was when she first came to the island. She didn't stand a chance.

Aonung turned around and made his way back towards the village wondering if he made the right decision...
