The sounds of villagers laughing and singing filled my ears, I looked down at the bowls of crushed herbs in my arms before fixing my gaze onto a marui that seemed odd. The noises of the people were drowned out by low whispering sounds that came from the Marui.

Suddenly everything fell silent. I looked around but was stunned when I seen the village was empty, "what the hell?" I murmured under my breath. Hushed sounds began again so I fixed my gaze back onto the strange Marui, "empathy for you my child" was what the voice was saying. In the blink of an eye the small timid voice grew louder nearly making ears go deaf. I dropped the bowls that were in my hand and hastily covered my ears.
"Do you see me! Do you understand now!" The strange voice screamed sending a sense of pure fear through my body. I fell to my knees and screamed loudly "who are you!" The sky turned dark faster than an arrow could fly. Shortly after everything went quiet, then I felt small drops of water on my shoulders. I looked up at the sky and noticed it was now raining. "What in the coo coos nest is happening?" I laughed dryly before picking up the bowls and standing up.
I stared at the marui once more before closing my eyes and sighing. Once I reopened them I made my way into the home. My heart dropped when I seen iya on the floor holding her stomach, "help me im scared!" She let out a blood hurdling scream. My eyes shifted over to aonung who was holding her hand, "ma yawne just breath okay?" He whispered to her.
Even though iya has been a complete bitch to me, I couldn't stand seeing her in pain so I hurriedly sat the bowls down and began treating her. "You are about to have a baby but everything will be ok" I reassured her while holding a cup of sedating tea up to her lips. Iya slapped the cup out of my hands before shooting me a look of utter disgust, "I don't want a four fingered freak like you to touch me!" She hissed loudly.
I felt my eyes widen, "iya I know we have our differences but I am here to help you and your baby" I mumbled as I made another cup of tea. Iya sobbed loudly as blood began to pour out of her lower area. I lifted to cup back to her lips and to my surprise she drank it, I then moved over to her legs and spread them open, "aonung I need you to keep her calm for me" I whispered ignoring my heart aching.
He nodded and began mumbling sweet nothings to her. I can't lie it hurt me to see that, I wished he could've been there for me like he is for her, but no matter what I couldn't let iya deal with child birth alone, not like I had to..
