Elei walked along the water admiring the beautiful sea creatures that would poke their heads out of the water every once in a while. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a bunch of yelling. The girl furrowed her human like eyebrows together while looking towards the warriors who were in the shallow side of the water.

She walked past them slowly but stopped in her tracks when she made eye contact with aonung. He began making his way towards her and for some reason she was flustered. "Hey how are you feeling?" He asked while looking up at her lightly colored hair.

Her heart rate quickened just from his presence . "Um I'm fine i was just looking for my lover" she cracked an awkward smile while looking into his light blue eyes. Aonungs body tensed up but he played it off by smirking. "Agh you have a lover? Who knew" he laughed but stopped when Elei slapped his arm.

"Ow my arm!" He hissed while rubbing it. Elei rolled her eyes "you are like a baby can't even handle a little hit" she stuck her tongue out before turning away from him. Aonung grabbed her wrist forcing her to look at him. "That  Aou'te kid is not your lover, remember that forest girl"

Eleis eyes widened "he IS my lover and he is not a kid he is a man" she argued as she crossed her dark blue arms. Aonung sucked his teeth "he cannot be your lover when you are already mated to someone else" aonung shot back as jealousy coursed through his soul.

Elei looked him up and down "I don't have a mate you skawng" she looked around waiting for him to respond. Aonung placed a hand on her waist while gazing deeply into her eyes "we have mated before eywa, you are mine for eternity my love" goosebumps covered her skin from his warm touch. Eleis eyes blinked rapidly as she processed what he just said to her.

She backed away causing his hand to fall off of her waist. "No, no that isn't true you lie" she shook her head slowly. Aonungs eyes softened, he cleared his throat and looked around before facing her again. "You have lost some of your memory my love but we have mated before eywa the day you got hurt at the cove of ancestors" Elei held her hand up silencing him. "Aonung I- I am to mate with Aou'te I love him?" Tears filled her bright yellow eyes.

Aonungs jaw clenched, he quickly looked away from her as he tried to calm down. "No Elei, you cannot mate with that skawng because I'm your mate" he reminded her still not looking at her.

Warms tears rolled down her cheeks as her breathing quickened, "that is not true? I just met you" she whispered while watching his head turn to reveal his darkened eyes from how territorial he began to feel. "You lost your memory how many times must I say it?" He began to get agitated, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath to slow his heart rate.

"If it is true..then how can I remember?" She asked while wiping the fresh tears from her cheeks. Aonung opened his eyes showing his dilated pupils, "I will help you remember ma yawne, just let me help you" he stepped closer to her wanting to taste her lips but backed away when he heard his father calling for him.

"Aonung time to tame your skimwing today is your last try boy!"

Eleis lips parted as she stared intensely into his eyes, aonung swallowed hard "tonight we will have a small party for the warriors will you come dance for us?" A big smirk snuck onto his lips. Eleis eyes widened "how the hell did you know I dance?"

Aonung snickered while placing a hand on his stomach "agh I know everything, you are my mate remember?" The dumbfounded girl in front of him tilted her head while fiddling with her fingers, "see you then forest girl" he winked before walking off. Elei rolled her eyes "ok fish lips see you soon!" She shouted while walking off to find Aou'te.
