Tsireya stood in front of tuktirey and na'tey as the leader of the ash na'vi circled them.

"i'm scared i want my mama" na'tey cried in english. His braids began to fall out of his bun showing how much he's been through leading up to this moment.

Tuktirey wrapped her arms around the boy when she seen Varang get closer to them. "mawey na'tey" tuk tried calming him down.

Varang chuckled before pulling her sword from her back, "ahh that almost warmed my heart for a second" she sarcastically told them.

"get away from us!" na'tey screamed at the tall, enchanting woman.

Varang placed a hand on her chest before dramatically gasping, "is that how your mother taught you to treat guests?"

Tsireya began backing up, she made sure to push na'tey and tuk with her, "hurry get into the water and leave" the girl whispered to the two younger kids.

Just as they were about to leap into the water Quaritch grabbed tsireya by her hair and tossed her off of the ship.

Tuks eyes widened as she reached out for the woman, "tsireya no!" she cried before quaritch tossed her to the floor by her queue.

The man hurriedly cuffed the kids to the rail to assure they wouldn't go anywhere.

Tuk rolled her eyes "come on man not again"

Na'tey grunted as he tried to break free from the yellow handcuffs. "let me see your hands" Quaratich demanded before grabbing the boys hand and counting his fingers.

Na'tey stuck out his tongue and widened his eyes as he did the traditional metkyina war cry

"hmm full na'vi..but your eyes remind me of someone?" Quaritch mumbled as he inspected the boys face. "me" a voice whispered from behind him.

Quaritch hollered as he felt a knife go in and out of his back rapidly. He fell to the ground and turned onto his back to see who was attacking him, all he could see was a pair of widened yellow orbs that reminded him of only one person...elei miula ney'sulli.

Na'tey watched his mother inhumanly kill the man in front of him, "that's your mom" tuk murmured in shock.

The boy stared at his mother with widened eyes, "woah" he breathed out "she's an animal" he whispered.

Elei continued stabbing him in different parts of his body. "you" stab "you" stab "you..you..you..you..YOOU!" she hoarsely screamed before grabbing the man by his shirt and tossing him off the side of the ship.

Elei then crawled over to her son and sister, "are you hurt?" she choked out while using her knife to cut them free.

Na'tey shook his head and hugged her tightly. Tuktirey did the same once her hands were freed.

"mama im scared" na'tey cried into her arms. Elei kissed his temple before kissing the top of tuks head. "you're safe my sweet boy i'm here now" she sniffled.

Aonung bit his tongue to prevent himself from crying, he had to stay strong for his family. It was his job as a father and a mate. "we have to go" aonung blurted out interrupting the little family reunion they had going on.

Elei stood up making sure to watch her surroundings before guiding everyone off of the demon ship.

She dropped her knife so she ran back and frantically picked it up before heading back towards her family.

"you're not going anywhere girl" varang loudly stated causing elei to stop dead in her tracks. She held her breath for a few seconds before turning around to look at the woman. "i'm going home and you should too" elei sneered.

Varang looked around before doubling over in laughter, "silly girl you belong to me!" she chuckled while pointing a finger at herself.

Elei shook her head, "no, go back" her heavy accent stood out a bit more from the immense stress she was under.

Varangs smile faded into a monstrous look, "you haven't succeeded in killing him, so you WILL come back with me" she demanded while stomping towards her.

Elei grabbed her bow but panicked when she seen she was out of arrows, she tossed it to the side and pulled out her knife before hissing viciously, varang backed away a bit before pulling out her knife as well. "you lie" elei rasped while holding her chin up high.

Varang slowly shook her head as she crouched over, "no, i seen him leave with a human boy" she hissed.

"mama please come with us!" na'tey cried out to his mother.

Elei began backing away, "elei i am warning you girl do not walk away from me!" varang threatened her.

Elei rolled her eyes before turning on her heels and walking towards her family. "elei! do not take another step!" varang screamed as she began to lose her temper.

Suddenly a loud bang filled everyone's ears causing the kids to scream and cover their ears, Aonung stared at elei as she grabbed her chest, the girl slowly looked up until she made eye contact with aonung.

Everything went in slow motion as he watched her body collapse to the ground revealing lo'ak who was still shooting at varang.

Lo'ak threw the gun when he seen that varang escaped unscathed.

Aonung ran over to elei and placed his hand onto her warm cheek, "my love" was the only thing he could say in that moment.

Nothing but chaos erupted around him as na'tey and the others surrounded the girl. "lo'ak what did you do!" tuk shrieked.

"no mama!" na'tey screamed as he lifted her head into his lap.

"ma aonu i- i" elei stuttered "ma elei" aonung whispered back as he began to mentally check out.

"na'tey i n-need to" elei coughed up blood as she looked up at her son.

Aonungs entire world came crashing down when he seen the love of his life struggling to breathe. He tried so hard to protect her, but it was clear to him that he failed.

Lo'ak rushed over to them and moved tuks hands over eleis wound, "apply pressure i need to go find mom and dad" his voice cracked before he took off running.

Tuk sobbed when she seen her older sisters bright bioluminescent markings begin to fade. "help her aonung please i can't lose another sibling" tuk begged

"ma aonu i-im pre" elei coughed before saying "i-" suddenly she fell silent as her pupils shrank, aonung sighed when he felt her skin turn cold

Tuk frowned before burying her face into her blood stained hands.

"father is she breathing?" na'tey asked him while lowering his ear next to his mothers nose. Na'tey shook his head in disbelief when heard nothing. "mother?" the boy sniffled while shifting his eyes onto her empty ones.

Na'tey sat up and began screaming loudly "great mother no! no please!" he then placed his forehead onto hers as he sobbed.

Tuks body shook violently from how hard she was crying, "sister! no come on wake up!"

Aonung closed his eyes as the screams of his son and tuk clouded his thoughts.

"kehe eywa ke my sa'nok!" na'tey screamed while rocking back and forth with his mothers head in his lap.

"ma elei no" Aonung silently cried as he stared down at the love of his life who was unresponsive.

Aonung gently stroked her forehead while staring down into her lifeless eyes "elei i see you, may you run with the great mother for eternity and seek refuge in her heart" aonung murmured a prayer to eywa before dragging his fingers over eleis eyelids and closing them.
