My grandmother used to say that the two most important days of your life is when you are born, And when you find out why...

Everyone stood still as they kept their eyes on to Eleis limp body. Five minutes have passed and she still hasn't woken up yet. The bioluminescent dots on her body faded with every minute that went by. Neytiri clasped a hand over her mouth as tears rolled down her dark blue cheeks.

"What is happening mother?" Aonung murmured when he seen the bioluminescent markings on her body dim a little more. Ronal closed her eyes and sighed "she is choosing to run with eywa or finish going through the eye of the great mother"

Jake pressed his lips into a thin line as he hugged Neytiri, na'tey tugged on roxtos hand grabbing his attention. "What is happening to sa'nuk?" He sniffled, the boy closed his eyes as he cried silently. Roxto placed a hand on top of na'teys head, "she is just taking a nap okay? Do not worry" roxto murmured. He had to lie to the boy to spare his feelings.

Roxtos tear stained cheeks glistened as the light from the stars bounced off of his skin. As another minute went by roxtos heart strings tugged at each other, he couldn't bare the thought of losing elei. He stepped out of his spot and began stomping over to Ronal and aonung, once he was close enough he glared at the both of them "wake her up she is struggling" he muttered while clenching his jaw.

Ronal narrowed her eyes at him "all tsahiks must go through this, it is not easy but this is the way" she whispered before focusing back on to Elei. Roxto shifted his eyes over to aonung who seemed stressed. "Good job protecting her brother, look at all your hard work huh?" Roxto sneered sarcastically. Aonungs head snapped up "I have protected her" he calmly stated before shifting in his spot.

Roxto shook his head as his eyes darkened "you left her to die just like you are doing right now" he spat. Aonungs nose scrunched up as the nastiest snarl escaped his mouth. "She's my woman, I would never leave her for dead." The man moved so that he was closer to roxto. Aonung roughly placed his hand onto roxtos shoulder, "she's mine, my mate do you understand? Learn your place before I have to teach you it" his smooth voice flowed like the wind.

Roxto shook his hand off of him and backed away from the olo'eyktan. The corners of Aonungs lips turned down as he nodded slowly "very wise of you" he mumbled.

Several more minutes went by and the people started to lose hope. Just as Ronal was about to stop the ceremony the ground began to rumble. The woman looked down at the spirit tree and seen it was burning brighter than before.

The villagers began to scream as the entire cove of ancestors shook. Ronal fell to her knees as she was unable to stand "everyone be calm!" She shouted but everyone was screaming still. A few seconds later the shaking stopped, the people looked around at eachother in silence when suddenly a loud gasp echoed through the cove.

Everyone turned to face Elei, she was finally awake. "You are...Your soul is pure spirited" the woman uttered in disbelief. "You have shown empathy..given grace..and shown you are strong both in the mind and body" ronal explained.

The darker blue na'vi woman looked around with widened eyes, "is this real or?" She muttered. Ronal cracked a small smile. "Yes, you have passed through the eye of eywa..and returned"

Everyone sang the traditional song as Ronal crowned Elei as the tsahik of the metkyina. The sully family held on to each other as they witnessed their daughter, and sister accomplish something they never thought could happen.
Elei scanned the crowd for roxto, once her eyes landed on him her heart didn't feel content. She felt like a backstabber for not being with him in the long run. He was perfect, but time just wasn't in their favor.

When you find out the 'why' then the hard parts of life sting less...

Elei rested her head on Aonungs chest as she listened to his heart beat. Their bare bodies were pressed up against each other like the perfect puzzle piece as their queues were connected allowing them to feel like one again. Elei stared at her fingers as they drew small circles on the man's chest, she couldn't sleep no matter how hard she tried. Roxto constantly haunted her mind for weeks, it didn't matter what she did.

She carefully slid out of Aonungs arms before getting out of their spacious floor bed, before she stood up she grabbed the dark red blanket and covered Aonungs lower body up.

The girl cautiously slid on her orange feathered top along with her long brown and red leathered skirt similar to Ronals. She then tip toed out of the Marui, once her feet crossed the threshold she sped up her pace.

She walked past a few villagers and waved at them, "tsahik you must rest I'm sure you have many duties tomorrow morning!" A random guy told her while grinning. Elei placed a hand on her chest and smiled, "I must collect a few plants before I rest, have a nice night!" She waved and continued walking until she entered the small secluded forest like area of the village.

She would come here whenever she had to clear her mind or if she needed space. Once she was at her usual spot she sat down on the ground and pulled her knees into her chest. The winds cool breeze brushed through her hair, she ran a hand through her hair that hardly had braids or beads. Instead it was decorated with a former tsahik shell that slightly rested on her forehead.

Memories of her and roxto rushed through her head nearly bringing tears to her eyes. Just as she was reminiscing she heard footsteps near her. She turned her head and froze when she seen roxto standing there. He had on a green and brown loin cloth to match the arm band he had on. His hair remained the same to her surprise, she liked that he never braided it.

"I didn't think anyone would be here" the man blurted out. He cleared his throat and took his eyes off of the beautiful woman in front of him as a sign of respect. "I will leave" he told her as he turned around. Elei lifted her hand "no no stay, please" she choked out. Roxto was taken by surprise because the woman would never make any efforts to see him, it's been months since they've been those close to each other.

Roxto walked over to her and plopped down beside her, "how have you been?" Elei asked him. She fiddled with her fingers to distract herself from her nerves. Roxto shrugged "I've been pretty good, just busy with hunting and teaching na'tey what I know" he stared at the girl out the corner of his eyes before focusing on the plants in front of them. "And you?" He added.

Elei rested her chin on her cold knees, "I've been busy tending to the people but other than that uh I've been great" she forced a fake laugh, but roxto knew her well enough to sense something was wrong.

Roxto turned his body to face her, Elei hesitated at first but then she did the same. "Are you happy?" He murmured while staring into her yellow eyes. Elei licked her lips and tilted her head to the side "yes aonung and I have been pretty busy uh he wants another child soon so" she nervously chewed on her lower lip while looking into roxtos icy blue eyes.

Roxto laughed a little, "I didn't ask about him I asked are you happy?"

Eleis throat went dry, she wiped her sweaty palms on her legs, "um I am but who cares right?" She laughed again. Roxto nodded slowly before tearing his eyes off of her. "I've met a woman..she is very kind and she is a singer for the clan" he smiled as he spoke about her.

Eleis body grew weak when she heard him brag about someone that wasn't her. "She makes me very happy" he finished talking. Eleis body stiffened up at the thought of someone else being his joy. "I'm so happy for you!" She exclaimed through gritted teeth.

Roxto cocked his head to the side as he studied her face, "are you really?" He asked before lowering his eyes down her body before looking away from her. Eleis body warmed up from how he looked at her, "I want to meet her actually" she insisted while running her hands down her body to wipe of the small grains of sand that stuck to her.

Roxto swallowed hard before standing up and turning away from her, "are you okay roxto?" She asked while walking over to him. Goosebumps formed on his skin from her hand resting on his back, "I need to take care of something but yeah yeah you can meet her tomorrow night?" He quickly stated before disappearing into the large leaves
