Elei and roxto hid behind a few trees as they watched na'tey closely. The boy stood in the water while slowly pulling back an arrow making sure to point it exactly where roxto taught him to. He paused and closed his eyes taking a few deep breaths.

Roxto looked at Elei from the corner of his eye and seen her radiant smile as she soaked up this moment. His eyes then shifted back onto na'tey. Roxto loved that no matter what, fish or no fish Elei was always proud of her son. He admired her for that.

Just before the fish could swim away na'teys arrow shot straight through the fishes heart instantly killing it. Just as roxto was about to shout and go celebrate the boys first kill, Elei clasped a hand over his mouth. Once roxto calmed down she used her free hand to sign 'just wait and watch' roxto nodded and focused back on the boy.

Na'tey crouched down next to the fish and began mumbling a prayer to eywa "I see you brother, and I thank you, your spirit will run with eywa while your body will remain and become a part of the people" na'tey then pulled the arrow out of the large fish.

Elei and roxto ran over to him hugging him tightly "oh my baby boy I am so proud of you!" Elei squealed while kissing his forehead. Roxto examined the fish "clean kill just like I taught you" he loudly stated as a proud look spread across his face. Na'tey smiled up at roxto "can we show my great grandmother?" He asked trying to contain his excitement.

Elei ran her hand through his wet curly hair, "we need to take a picture first for memories remember?" His mother reminded him.

Elei ran to grab the camera norm and max gave her awhile ago, roxto moved out of the way as his elei took a picture of her child. Elei looked at the photo teary eyed. "Na'tey I am so proud of you my baby boy, you are the youngest to hunt a fish! We must tell the people" Elei proudly stated

The clan was amazed to hear and see the fish na'tey caught. Everyone congratulated the boy and his mother. Meanwhile roxto was in Eleis Marui packing all of their things for the trip back to awa'atlu.

Mo'at walked in startling roxto "tsahik I see you" he told her as he touched his forehead and drew his hands out towards her. Mo'at did the same to him. "What brings you here?" Roxto asked her as he continued to pack up the last few items that was out.

Mo'at looked around with saddened eyes, "I knew you were taking them back across the sea, na'tey will become a great warrior and a mighty olo'eytkan, you must teach him your ways in order for him to get there" she explained while helping him pack.

Roxtos eyes widened "what must I teach him?" He asked now curious. Mo'at looked him in the eyes "you have a pure spirit, teach him whatever the great mother urges you to" she told him before tying up the last bag.

Roxto cleared his throat while looking around to see if he missed anything. Mo'at was walking out of the Marui before she paused "roxto take care of Elei as well" she told him before disappearing into the crowd of people.

Roxto smiled to himself before carrying their bags towards the spot where asřa was usually at.

Elei and na'tey walked back to their marui to begin preparing the fish, once they stepped inside and seen all of their things were gone Eleis heart began to ache

Elei and na'tey walked back to their marui to begin preparing the fish, once they stepped inside and seen all of their things were gone Eleis heart began to ache. Na'tey furrowed his brows together before placing the fish on the ground and running to his separate area to search for his toys.

"Ma everything is gone where did it go?" He asked while running out of his small room. Eleis heart was racing but she had to keep her composure. She swallowed hard "uh let's go see where roxto is my sweet boy" she suggested while grabbing his hand.

Once they found..roxto, Elei seen that the man loaded all of their things onto her ikran. Eleis breath quickened when she realized what was happening. She bent down to her son's level before brushing his hair with her hands. "Stay right here while I go talk to him okay?" She asked. Na'tey nodded with a small pout on his lips.

Elei kissed his forehead before making her way over to the man, "what the hell are you doing?" She lowly screamed. Roxto looked over his shoulder at her, "we are going back to awa'atlu like aonung wanted"

Elei let out a shaky breath as she watched roxto tie the last bag onto asřa. "I don't think we should leave, this is our home" she whispered avoiding his eyes. Roxto looked over her shoulder at the confused boy before fixing his attention back onto her. "Our home is not here we are metikyina" he reminded her.

Tears rolled down Eleis cheeks "no roxto the forest is our home okay? The forest is all na'tey knows" she sobbed quietly. Roxto grabbed her face with both of his large teal hands, "this family is our home no matter where we go Elei, but na'tey deserves to know his father" roxto stated while wiping her tears.

Eleis nose dripped as her body shook from how hard she was crying. "His father abandoned us! He wasn't there for his birth, I mean holy shit he wasn't ever there for the first years of his life and you still think my son wants to see him? Aonung is a stranger to us now!" She screamed.

Roxto shook his head while moving his hands down to her dark blue shoulders, "how is your mate and his father a stranger to you Elei?" He asked in disbelief.

Elei swatted his hands away from her "the day he outcast us, his own family. Was the day he became a stranger!" She yelled drawing the attention of other clan members. Roxto ran his hands through his hair as he stared at the ground. "Elei all I'm saying is na'tey deserves to see his father, don't be selfish you have to think of him"

Eleis mouth fell open "selfish?...Oh I'm selfish huh?" She stepped closer to him until their chests were pressed up against each-others. "No roxto I'm not selfish aonung is the selfish one, what don't you get! Did you not see how he tossed me away like it was n-nothing?" She sniffled.

Roxto looked into her yellow orbs "Elei i-" she cut him off "no, aonung doesn't get to decide what we do since he's the one who outcast his pregnant mate, h-he sent me here knowing the sky people were hunting my family and I" Eleis eyes turned cold as she stopped crying.

Roxto frowned seeing how hurt Elei was, "he left me alone to raise na'tey, just so he could be olo'eytkan. He loves that title more than he does his own family" her voice cracked just as her heart strings did.

Roxto licked his lips before placing a hand on her shoulder, "I see you Elei" he murmured. Eleis eyes moved down to his lips, then his nose, and back to his eyes. Roxto wiped her tear stained cheeks, "wherever the wind takes us this family is our fortress remember?" He whispered.

Elei nodded slowly, "na'tey come on we are leaving now" roxto told him. The boy ran over to his mother hugging her tightly. Elei smiled weakily before looking over at asřa

Elei climbed on to her ikran wrapping a piece of brown cloth around her and na'tey to make sure he'll stay near her as they were in the sky. Roxto climbed on behind Elei as he mentally double checked everything. "Okay let's go I think we have everything"

Asřs screeched loudly as she took off into the sky. Elei and na'tey both looked back at the forest one last time, wondering if they'll ever return.
