Four days in a hospital chair has your back fucked and your legs cramping, but you still made dinner and carried the tray up to your bedroom where your husband was resting after finally being discharged. He gave you a smile as you placed the tray over his lap. "How do you feel love?" Hizashi gave you a smile as you helped him sit up "Like shit."

You laughed, but it didn't feel real. Your grandfather and father took him with them when they went out hunting and he was attacked by what he claimed was a large bear while going to take a leak. It's lucky your family got to him and got him to the hospital quickly as those slashes were deep. 

"Hey, I'm ok. And I'm gonna be ok." You gave him a smile as he spoke to you, even like this he cared about you more. You smiled as you crawled over the bottom of the bed to lay on your side next to him. Watching him eat with a bit of a struggle until you eventually fell asleep.

Slowly your eyes drifted open, turning your head to the clock beside your bed's burning red numbers 3:00 A.M. You sighed and rolled over to snuggle your husband only for his bed to be empty. You huffed as you got up and walked over to the bathroom "Zashi, you in here? Hurry up-" You paused when you opened the bathroom door. His bandages, blood, and hair were everywhere. Panic filled you as you searched the whole house but he was nowhere.

You went outside with a flashlight hoping he wasn't outside as he definitely shouldn't be, standing on the first step off the porch and yelled out for him, waiting a full minute to see if you could hear him. When you didn't you yelled out again "Hizashi you shouldn't be up!"

You heard something in a bush and turned "Hizashi?" You turned your flashlight to the sound. And the whole woods went dead silent along with you.

No. No that was in no way Hizashi. From the trees around the thing It had to be around 8 feet tall. With razor-sharp claws and teeth. It growled and fear gripped your body. You rushed inside and locked the door before grabbing the phone on the counter. Dialing your grandfather you waited impatiently as you could hear the thing sniffing outside.

He answered, clearly you'd woken him up but you didn't let him finish his sarcastic good morning as you rushed out your explanation. You thought he'd call you crazy but the silence was killing you.

"Im coming. Y/n, do not let it harm you." He hung up and you started crying. What the fuck was happening! He knew something, and he wasn't saying what. As soon as you hung the phone up the door busted open. You screamed, trying to run, but the thing grabbed you in its clawed hands. Yet they didn't scratch you, he began pulling you up to his and you were sure it was over then. It was gonna eat you.

But...it nuzzled you. You looked at the thing, its eyes shining green and loving in the kitchen lights. "...Hizashi?" He licked your face, Rougarou you thought as he turned around and regaining to walk you both into the woods."
