The Galra ship had entered the atmosphere and I was in the Green lion with Pidge and Keith. The plan was for Pidge to stand guard and for me and Keith to find our lions in the ship. While we were doing this Lance and Hunk will fake surrender so we could get in unnoticed. Once me and Keith were on the ship I focused on the energy of the Gray lion. Finally Keith and I found out where our lions were held. I was running through the halls and took a sharp left into the corridor with the lions. I walked up to the Gray lion and put my hand on the barrier while focusing on the lion's energy. Then, the lion's barrier opened as her eyes glowed yellow and her jaw opened up for me.
I looked over at Keith to see him still struggling to open the barrier around his lion. I was just about to say something when Allura came over the intercom and said "Keith you need to earn the Red lions trust." Just as she said that Lazers fired at Keith and I. Keith Pulled out his sword and I helped him with my daggers and we almost had all of the Robots down when one of the lazers hit Keith sending him flying backwards towards a control panel. "Keith are you all right?" I asked, "Yes but I would recommend that you hold onto something and close your mask." He responded and I grabbed onto the metal pole to my right but I didn't get a great hold on it before Keith opened up the hatch and everything was getting sucked out into space. My hold on the pole was slipping fast and I could also tell that Keith's hold was slipping until we finally ended up in space. "KEITH!" I shouted as I quickly looked around to find out where he had been sucked to.
Then, I looked in front of me to see the Gray lion coming towards me and she opened her mouth to let me in. I grabbed the controls and spun around to see the Red lion flying towards where Keith was. Once everyone was in there lions we all headed back to the castle of lions. Everyone brought their lion into the Lion bay and they all surrounded the door to the Black lion. Allura, Coran and Shiro were already in the hangar, all of the lions roared as their eyes turned yellow.
Finally we all saw the Black lion and as Shiro walked up to it immediately it bowed its head and let Shiro into the cockpit. "Yes!!" Lance yelled through the intercom. Then as we followed the Black lion out the top of the castle the Galra cruiser had fired the Ion canion and everything started to shake.
After the shaking stopped many small ships exited the cruiser and started to fire at the barrier that was protecting the castle. "Shiro, what's the plan!" I asked practically shouting over the loud rumbling of the barrier being hit with Lazers."Well, if we leave the perimeter of the castle then we'll be fried to a crisp." Hunk stated "That's just a risk we are going to have to take!" Shiro said as he flew through the barrier and started to attack the ships. I immediately followed him and shot down about 10 fighters before everyone else joined. "Paladins, you need to form Voltron. The castle defenses are dwindling and with 2 more hits from that Ion cannon we'll be vulnerable." Allura said and as she finished talking a powerful beam from the Ion cannon and we could hear Allura and Coran yelling.
"ALLURA! CORAN!" Keith yelled as he turned towards the castle waiting for a response and finally one came. "We are all good but the barrier is at 25% power left and with one more hit from the Ion cannon the barrier will fall and we will be exposed!" Allura said with a concerned tone. "Ok everyone listen up. Let's try forming voltron by flying together and focusing on combining." Shiro said over the intercom and we all started to run together on the ground in a V formation with me in the middle as the heart of Voltron.
"Wait, I think something is bringing us together. I feel it pulling at my lion!" Hunk said excitedly. "Um. Hunk I don't think that is us forming Voltron. Look!" I said and everyone opened their eyes and saw that some sort of beam was pulling us closer to the Galra cruiser. I tried to pull Gray away from the beam but she wouldn't move a muscle.
