I jolted awake and I was covered in sweat and my face was wet so I presumed that I was crying. I crept out of bed without waking Maddie or Gray and I made my way to the kitchen.I entered the kitchen and Shiro and Allura were sitting at the table. They looked at me as I walked in but I was a wreck. I was still shaking so I made myself a cup of tea, Shiro and Allura were staring at me as I poured a shaky cup of tea.
I was still trying to pour a cup of tea when Allura came over and laid a hand on mine. I looked up at her as she finished pouring the cup of tea for me. "Kenya are you ok?" She asked and leaned against the counter trying to think of an answer. The truth was no, I was having nightmares of my death and it felt so real. I slid down the counter so I was sitting on the floor and I pulled my knees to my chest as I shook my head no. Allura and Shiro sat with me as I cried.
I collected myself and said "I have been having nightmares but they feel real and it's the same thing over and over again." I say. "What is it?" Shiro asks. "It's always when everyone is on a Galra cruiser and I turn the corner to see everyone and I get stabbed by someone. Then Maddie catches me and I say something and It all goes black" I say and they look at me in shock "So, you're having nightmares of you dying?" Allura clarifies. I nod my head and Shiro and Allura continue to comfort me.
I sat there on the ground thinking about my dream and after a little while I got up and started to head to the door to go back to bed. "Hey Kenya it's going to be ok alright." Allura said and I walked out towards my room.
Shiro's POV
Kenya had just walked out and I glanced at Allura and she seemed to be thinking about something. "What are you thinking about Allura?" I asked and she looked up at me. "I don't know but I feel like I have heard something like this happen before." Allura said and she walked back to the table.
We sat there for a while and she jumped up really quickly. "I know where I have heard of this before!" She said "Really?" I question. "Yes, Aleea the old paladin had something similar happen where she would have dreams of the future." She said, I froze when she said that because that meant Kenya was seeing her actual death. "What does this mean for Kenya?" I ask "I'm Not sure"
