After we saved the Arusians, Allura invited them into the castle for a celebration and they had just finished a short play about the battle that took place today. After that I went over to the other paladins and I noticed that Pidge wasn't there But I just continued talking. After a while I was getting a little overwhelmed by all of the people and I walked over to coran and said "Hey coran I am heading to the control room to take a break." "Ok but I am going with you." He said and we walked up the staircase and started to walk to the control room.
When we entered the room I sat down in my chair and curled up into a ball. "What's wrong Kenya?" Coran asked "I have this thing called social anxiety and when I am around a bunch of people I can have a panic attack which is when you start getting really scared and can't think straight while you are trying to get away from everyone." I said and Coran came over to me and Put a hand on my shoulder. "Oh. That makes sense why you seem distant with many people." He said and he walked away to work on something in the control room.
I stood up from where I was and I walked over to Coran and said "I'm ready to go now" and he nodded his head as we started to walk out of the control room. The door opened and I saw Rover fly in the control room. "Wait, where's Pidge?" I asked as I looked back at Rover and saw that Rover's colors turned from teal to purple. "Coran!" I yelled and Rover blew up sending me flying.
Shiro's POV
The whole castle started to shake after an explosion went off in what seemed to be the control room. "Pidge! Lance! Keith! Allura! Hunk!" I yelled and they all came to my position as we ran towards the control room and when we walked in we found Coran on the floor after waking up from being knocked out. Allura rushed to his side with Hunk and as the dust cleared we saw that the entire crystal was destroyed. Then I saw Kenya. She was passed out on the floor and looked really beat up. "Kenya!" I yelled and I rushed to her side while pulling her head into my lap. "We need to get her into a healing pod!" Pidge yelled with tears in her eyes.
"That's a negative number 6. Without the crystal the castle has no power." Coran said while leaning on hunk for support. Then the Arusian king came in and said that his village was being attacked. Keith suggested getting to the lions but they were all locked in their hangers. Then we made a plan for Hunk and Coran to go to a nearby Balmeria to get a crystal. While they were doing that Keith and Allura were going to go to the village to see what was happening. Finally Pidge would load Coran and Hunk into the pod and Lance was going to stay at the castle with me.
We all split up and I went to check the perimeter while Lance helped Kenya. When I got to the front gate I could see Sendak and a bunch of centuries approaching the castle. "I won't let you in!" I yelled and charged at Sendak.
Lance's POV
Kenya's head was in my lap as I watched her breathing and looked over her wounds. 'Her wounds are pretty bad I just hope that they can get back soon' I thought and I pulled up the security footage to see where Shiro and Pidge were. When I did I saw that Pidge was headed to the control deck and then I looked to see where Shiro was and I saw Galra centuries all over the castle and I thought the worst. Then, Something hit the back of my head and I blacked out.
Third Person POV
Both Lance and Shiro were passed out and handcuffed inside the control room. Pidge was in contact with Keith and Allura and was currently shutting down Sendak from the inside. Meanwhile Coran and Hunk had made it to the Balmera and were trying to find the battle class crystal that they needed to fix the castle. Everything was in chaos and everyone in this situation was worried about Kenya. Little did they know that Kenya had been spending Time with the gray lion when she couldn't sleep and had unlocked the Gray lion's spirit.
The gray lion exited it's mechanical body and teleported to were Pidge was. As she appeared Pidge got spooked and yelped. "Pidge, what happened?" Allura asked over the intercom "Um. Guys a gray lion just appeared in front of me" She responded and Allura then explained "Each of the Lions have a physical form and they will only show it to certain paladins. So, that means that Kenya must have awakened hers and Gray sensed that she was in trouble and came to help." Allura said and everyone was very fascinated by the lion. Then they continued to free the castle from Sendak's hands.
