Chapter 39: Adam's POV

I'm just going to write Adam's Pov after what happened in the prev chap.

*Adam's Pov*

"Ugh... Fuck."
He immediately cuss once he woke up in a LITERAL foreign room.

'Where the hell am I? Wasn't I in the reaction room- no, recording room?'

Adam look around and sat up, feeling the soft mattress under him.
From his view, he can tell that he's in a bedroom even with the dimmest lighting in the room.

"Damn it.. I need to move."
As he said, he quickly try to move and get off the bed, Keyword, TRY.

Ktang-

"What the-"
'What the fuck is this?!'

He look at the shackles around his wrists, and his ankles. He could only tell those are shackles from the sound, the feel, and the slightly shining metal whenever a light hit.

Klang, ktang.
Screet....

He kept pulling and tugging the chains of the shackles, trying to break free.

'Hell nah. I ain't gonna give UP today metals.'

Adam glare at the shackles and kick up into the air as hard and fast as he could, trying very hard to break the chains atleast.

Ktrang!

Unfortunately, the shackles only tighten even moreby itself, as if it already was set to do so.

'Shitty metal-'
Adam sigh and lay down on the bed, resting for a bit.

Though... He feels weird all of a sudden.
He usually could easily break any metals, he always break free from any type of items that could bind him, unless....

His eyes widen and he stare at the shackles with widen eyes, before frowning and clicking his tounge.

'Suppressor types.....'

Soul suppressor, or better, 'core suppressor', are used to suppress or seal away people's souls or cores.
There's a lot of items in the divine realm that is made for Soul Suppressing. These are made to suppress, or seal the gods or Pillars that broke the rules or those that have gone into insanity.

The suppressor can be used to suppress the cores of any being, even gods and Pillars. They won't be able to use their powers, and half of their strength are sealed.

But only some could break this kind of suppressor. Also, this kind of items could only be found in the Palace of Azmare, and only those with the Ruler's permission could get and use it.

(anyway, for those who forgot core is like another heart, or soul for each being. It can be 1,2 or 3, maximum is 3, in each beings. If they die, they can be reincarnate, revive or rebirth again, unless the cores are destroyed.)

'How the hell did someone even get this? Only those -'

He stop thinking for a while before sighing out of frustation.

"Right... The Pillars. Any of them could've this kind of items as an emergency..."

But...
Adam smile while tugging the shackle on his wrist again and try kicking it hard while pulling his hand free.

'Only a son of a B like Light would do something like this!!!'

He spent the rest of the hours alone, in the dark room trying to free himself... With only the sounds of metals and chains accompany him...
