Her memories begin to pour into the young soldier's mind; one was of her daughter's birth; the smell of afterbirth and old medicine fill up his nose Deep down, he knew it wasn't real, but the sensations he felt were undeniable.

He witnessed a mother's love for the first time in his life; he remembered his mother. She abandoned them only four years after his birth and, for some strange reason, didn't take him with her.

But he shakes his head and pushes these thoughts to the back of his mind; they did him no good, he thinks to himself.

As the memory was unfolding, he waited for the mother to name her daughter, but something else happened; the mother of the child simply stared at her daughter with a disturbing, indifferent look in her eyes.

He recognized the look. It was the same look his father gave to him after weeks of training and forcing him to kill animals; it was a look of pride not for the child but rather for themselves.

His eyes narrowed, realizing whatever she did to her perfect little family was on purpose or, at the very least, they were spendable compared to her main goal.

They were a means to an end, nothing more and nothing less. As he was thinking this, something filled his lungs, and his skin felt wet, but before he could fully process what was happening.

The General spoke up one last time ( I have left you some gifts, we'll talk again I think I found a new body....) there was a weird pause before he spoke again ( just don't laugh at me when you see me okay)

The Soldier's motionless body fell to the ground from the healing vet with the grace of a dead body hitting concrete. A well-built woman with massive cybernetic arms picked up his nearly lifeless body and shook him.

While screaming In a cockney accent (Wake up you fucking Hufflepuff, we have a war to win and we can't do it without your black ass) she pauses only for a minute to place her head on his chest)

She hears his heart slow down, and she then begins to smile gently, placing The Soldier back down and backing up a little bit.

His Built-in A.E.D began to activate charging itself up with as much raw electricity as it could muster pour into his heart with the force of a jet smashing into a wall.

His body shot up not once, not twice, but three times before he finally started coughing up the healing gel that lined his lungs; the woman placed her massive cybernetic hand on his shoulder.

Shaking him fully awake, He simply replied (Knuckle Duster how many of my friends did you piss off trying to get me awake) she paused before looking back at the barricaded door behind them and hearing the pissed-off voices of his friends,

she laughed and said (almost all of them, be a lad and walk out first so I don't get roughed up by your crew) She took a moment to think before speaking again ( seriously though I'm glad to see you still kicking when we were recruited you was the most resourceful one out of all of us)

( To think you almost died in this place just proves how dangerous this place is but besides the point I'm trying to make we need to talk)
