Mech Girl sent the little girl away just in case Fang lashed out at her out of frustration due to the situation they found themselves in, but she didn't they just sat together in complete silence for almost an hour before Fang spoke.
( I am Fang Warrior of the White Scales Tribe; I'm a slayer of beasts and men. Not even machines could escape my fury, but then I lost, and worse, I lived.... this is a great dishonor to my people. Not only that but due to my weakness, my brother-in-arms might have died. )
And now I'm made of false strength. Tell me, Mech Girl, what should I do? Her face turned red at The mere mention of her nickname, but she quickly pushed aside her Embarrassment and replied ( wow, I didn't know you were going through all this.)
( But that makes sense; I don't even know why we are still here; we could leave and make this someone else's problem, but we won't. It's just not in our nature, but I think that doesn't make us good or bad people.)
( We are just people who want answers, so we become Mercenaries or Adventurers seeking something or anything that gives us those answers, even if that means our death or Mutilation. We all come to terms with these facts over time.)
(As I did in my home country, just like your friend did on the battlefield, and like you are now, and yet we will try again because we are people who are seeking answers, and don't you want Answers? )
Fang raised her head and simply replied, ( no, what I want is blood for blood, just pity revenge. My people don't need deeper meaning to kill, just the want or the need, and I have both.)
( I'm just not smart enough to know how that was my Brother-in-arms job; my job was just to smash or eat anything that tried to kill us while we were trying to fulfill a bounty, but I failed if I had been there with him from the beginning he wouldn't have almost died. )
As Fang Finished her sentence, the sound of banging and barking came from the room beside them. Before Mech Girl could stop Fang, she was off following the sound, stumbling and almost falling in the process of looking for the sound Location.
Until she saw a wall of undead soldiers mindless slamming themselves against The bulletproof glass while using Trench Swords and Trench Axes to try to chap their way through the glass shielding them from the undead soldiers' Unyielding Fury.
She looked around the room and saw the cyborg dog her friend saved from The Hive Mind control barking at the hoard of soldiers undead with the little girl holding back the cyborg dog from attacking the glass with great struggle.
Fang walks over and simply picks up the cyborg dog stopping the barking almost instantly and making the cyborg dog quietly whine instead of bark.
The Little girl went over to Fang and just hugged her while soft-crying, at that moment the one thing Fang wanted the most just the chance to have human tear glades so she could cry with the little girl, but Instead, her reptilian eyes simply stared down, unable to show her deep sorrow and rage on her Reptilian face.
A feeling that Fang was all too familiar with
