When he was done fully suiting up, he felt a little weird. He could still hear his companions hitting the door, but he didn't hear them screaming anymore.

He guessed they probably could have heard him talking to Knuckle Duster, but still, the silent banging made him a little uncomfortable.

Then they heard and saw 35 inches of steel begin to distort; the door slowly was peeled open by reptilian clawed hands, but one of them was covered in thick greenish militaristic armor that was fused with cybernetics.

Fang stood in the doorway, and before he could brace himself, she took him into her arms, hugging him so hard his armor began to bend under her newfound cybernetically enhanced strength.

She spoke to him in just a whisper (I see you are doing well). Her arms grew tighter around him, and she looked down at her closest friend, trying to control her emotions she never knew she had.

She was at a loss for words; normally, he would refrain from displays of affection, but this time, he knew his friend needed him, so he hesitantly hugged her back, trying his best to comfort his friend in her time of need.

She spoke under her breath ( you have changed, and I have changed, but yet I still feel the same. What is this feeling). He responded with (it's the fear of change, my friend, and I think we're changing).

( For better or worse I don't know but I do know this at least we have each other to get through it together am I right old friend) Fang smirks and replies ( damn straight)

Knuckle Duster mumbled ( you Hufflepuffs making this gal cry before I could even head crack some noggins but seriously though what's the plan)

They stood around each other trying to think of some strategy to break the stalemate all of a sudden Mech Girl shouted ( there is a chimpanzee wearing an army helmet and smoking a cigar outside of our safe room can someone please explain )

They were all looking at each other and then looked outside the bulletproof window where the undead army used to be, but only saw a chimpanzee smoking a cigar and wearing an army helmet and uniform.

He looked up at the window and said ( cut me some slack you promise you wouldn't laugh ) The Soldier's eyes became dinner plates as he busted out laughing uncontrollably for a solid good minute as he opened the steel-reinforced store.

The General walked inside with as much pride as he could mustard in his new body and, of all the hindsight of a man, realizing he became the stereotype he once made fun of as a child.

He saluted the group of freedom fighters and spoke once again ( okay, before you ask questions, please hear me out, I am not the original; I am a copy of the original, and before you all ask, the original is dead, the Hive Mind made damn sure of it. )

( When the original was in contact with your friend The Soldier the rest of the Hive Mind became aware of my.....I mean his betrayal and our deep desire for revenge for what they did to us and our men.)
