The Soldier replied with a simple (huh) before continuing with (what the hell are you talking about I can't help you even if I wanted to due to the fact I'm trapped in a deep coma due to one of your Juggernauts putting me through a wall and then a table remember? )
(Hell, I probably failed my mission away and got lower ranked too, so why bother waiting on me while so many countless Mercenaries, Bounty hunters, and Treasure hunters could help you better than a PTSD-riddled Soldier trapped inside of a coma?
The General sneered before speaking again ( You are a Soldier, aren't you? That's why you came to this godforsaken Brunker because you are looking for a war to fight in, but now you outmatch, and out of luck, you want to give up.)
That doesn't sound like your ancestors who fought like demons protecting their homes, friends, and families, but here you are wearing their uniform and their symbol, talking about giving up; if your ancestors were here and now, they would be sticking by your yellow belly, Soldier)!
The Soldier replied ( What about you General why did you give up and join The Hive Mind, was it The Undying Army, or maybe you just wanted to live forever
(Fearing what your men had to face every single day when they stepped on a battlefield a painful and meaningless death at the hands of the enemy that was forced to do something by the same powerful old bitter men like you, what right do you have to judge me?)
The General took a moment to think before speaking again and to keep his rage in check (Soldier I'm no traitor, I wanted to die alone side my men or at least beside my wife and child in bed dying from a normal disease but that was taking away from me and Doctor Wolfsein but by all means keep believing in your made up story but if you want to know the truth ask and I will show)
The General raised out a hand towards The Soldier waiting for him to take the offer, any other man would have thought about it more but not The Soldier with no hesitation he grabbed his hand making the whole world go dark for only a moment
Then a rush of colors poured over them as The Soldier came to a realization that he couldn't move or speak but was standing like he was waiting for something; his eyes looked down out of his control to see a body and uniform he didn't fully recognize.
Until he heard The General's voice come from his lips saying ( looked Old Friend, we can't keep funding your
Research anymore, the war is over, and their talk of a cover-up that might take place only a few weeks anyway.)
( I did everything In my power to help you and your daughter, but these are powerful people. If they want something, they just take it, it's as simple as that.)
