Before The Soldier could even argue with his new cybernetic-enhanced canine companion, he felt the serum of nearly flesh-melted toxic chemicals burns through his veins with the ease of acid burning through flesh. His eyes began to turn red due to his eye blood vessels violently swelling, even his veins began to bulge from under his skin, and what was left of his organic muscles began to mutate, becoming more dense and flexible.
He raises his serrated machete towards the sounds of the approaching hoard of undead soldiers, his mind racing too fast for him to use his gun properly, so the machete was his option but that might have just been the bloodlust he was feeling, anyway using every bit of his willpower and self-discipline to force himself to focus on killing the encroaching undead horde and not his newfound dog companion.
It was one of the hardest things any human could do in that situation due to the serum's nearly uncontrollable synthetic bloodlust and massive amounts of adrenaline pumping out through his body.
His flesh felt a flame, and his blood felt like acid, but artificial adrenaline/performing enhancement drug stopped him from panicking when one of the undead soldier's trench axes sliced into his shoulder all the way to The Reinforce Bone, stopping only when the blade got stuck in his flesh.
The Soldier didn't drop dead or scream in pain but simply raised his hands, dropping his machete on the bloodstained steel floors; instead, he grasped the head of the undead that stabbed him.
He abruptly caved it in with a powerful headbutt, splattering the undead brains across the walls and floor, repeatedly doing it until blood and bone fragments covered his face. When he is done, The undead soldier's lifeless body finally pitifully falls to the ground.
The next one charged from the side but was abruptly punched into the wall with the force of a speeding car, shattering almost every bone in its body and his hand; he picked up his machete again, not for some technical advantage but rather just a sick desire to cut through flesh but also he could feel his broken bones in his hand aggressively healing its self.
He went into a Berserker Frenzy; bullets shredded his body, and bayonets tore through organs, but only for one reason: he did not die. The serum worked in overdrive, regenerating his body and artificially increasing his testosterone and adrenaline nearly to unknown levels.
This caused him to almost kill his doggy companion out of uncontrollable rage, but he managed to hold himself back just by a little bit but enough to keep himself from hurting his dog.
In his bloody frenzy, he breaks his machete and then grabs an auto trench axe from a mutilated corpse's chest cavity with wet a meaty tear and swings with the ferocity of a Berserker from a different era but his ax found itself in the chest cavity of a massive Brute missing a finger the same one that his friend definitely pissed off.
Before he could even think, The Brute's fist slammed into his chest with the force of a speeding truck, sending him flying through a concrete wall and only stopping when he hit another wall made out of steel right after slamming through a bunch of rusty chairs and desks.
He left a massive hole where the concrete wall used to be, he tries to stand back up but abruptly gets grabbed by his unguarded leg and slammed into a metal table that had nearly mummified scraps left behind by probably two soldiers who had eaten their last meal before their untimely end, but now that same table was nothing more but a simple obstacle between The Soldier body and the steel cold floor.
If it wasn't for his reinforced bones and fast healing, he would have died instantly, not to mention his body armor taking most of the brunt force trauma, leaving behind a massive crack going across his chest plate, but to make matters worse.
All three of the advantages that saved his life the first time were quickly starting to lose their effectiveness, but lucky as The Brute tumbled over to him grabbed him by his leg again, and slowly dragged the limp lifeless body of The Soldier to his face to see if he was dead.
The Soldier's eyes snapped open as he pulled out his side pistol from his leather holster firing his gun into the Brute eye. The sound was definite, and there was a moment of silence before the Brute slammed him on his back in vicious primal rage, but he still made The Brute stumble back in complete and utter shock.
He tries to stand and reach for his shotgun but only manages to stumble himself. He cuffs up nearly toxic blood onto the ground and tries to think as the serum quickly starts leaving his system, but then that's when he hears the sound of his friend's weapon's engine quickly approaching overpowering countless Undead moans of agony.
