Fang walked over to Mech Girl, placed a hand on her shoulder, and said (Mech Girl..... You don't need to mask your fears and sorrow as anger, you are among your tribal).

Tears and snot began pouring out of Mech Girl's face as she turned her face away and replied ( it's not fucking fair, I finally get the adventure of a lifetime and find something I'm good at. Hell, I even made friends for the first time In my life on my own).

Fang pulled her into a hug and spoke once again ( my chief used to tell me that the tribe is not just a big family or a clan of warriors but a group of people that come together to fight for the future of future generations ).

(You told me you didn't come back to The BUNKER for revenge but to simply learn and to make your friend's death mean something, your tribe, our tribe is here for you and that goes for everyone in this room)

The Soldier looks away in shame, he just wants to get closer to his team before the next battle comes just in case they all didn't make it, but all he did was make a bad situation worse.

The old man spoke up (we all know what you were trying to do, young Hellfighter, so we won't get mad at you for that, but remember this: some of these people are not soldiers and some of these people are not warriors you cannot treat them as such be more subtle next time)

The Soldier replied ( understood I'd be more subtle when I asked these things I just... It's hard for me not to think like a soldier; it's all I know. I didn't mean to cause her harm. I am sorry, Mech Girl, and thank you, Fang, for having a friend's back).

( I'm just going to do what I do best, and I focus on a mission. After all, we have the perfect opportunity to get even let's not waste it)

But as he walked away, Mech Girl asked him a question that nearly made him freeze in existential terror (why do you say that? All you know is being a soldier; do you have something outside of this?)

He replied (no I do not, my father raised me since birth to be a soldier, I have no friends outside the ones that I have made here, and my closest family my father I want to kill but no I do not have anything outside of this I'm just going to keep looking for new battles and new wars to fight in until......I die probably)

(Because that's all I know)

The General took a deep drag of his cigar before speaking ( I can relate to that, war changes you especially when you feel like it's the only thing you can do, but know this every Soldier has a name on their dog tags due to three reasons due to fact they are not just soldiers there are men with families and lives outside of war they can call their own but especially our names that honor both)
