"I am so sorry guys." Elijah apologized to his friends, feeling a level of embarrassment he had never been before, "I thought it was just Haejun here."
Haejun facepalmed, because somehow that sounded not that much better. "We don't constantly have sex. He just.. it's his birthday today!" No that doesn't sound right either. Julian and Lucas couldn't contain themselves as they burst out laughing.
"Oh my gosh." Haejun turned around, fanning his face to cool down his red face. Suddenly the doorbell rang, and Haejun couldn't be any more grateful. He ran to get the door, finding Kiandra and Lauren there.
"Let's just.. celebrate.." Elijah spoke still trying to recover from the awkward situation. He hurried past his friends to go welcome the girls into his house with his boyfriend.
Kiandra could immediately sense the mood when she stepped inside.
"What did we miss?" She asked looking at the faces of her friends.
Lucas snickered, "Elijah thinking with his dick."
"Stop!" Elijah shouted covering his face, "Please forget that happened, I'm begging you." Elijah shut the front door behind the girls and joined his friends in the kitchen where Mayra had dropped off pizza.
"What the fuck?" Lauren asked, "Is this a normal occurrence?"
"No babe." Kiandra quickly replied, not wanting to associate with their unusual antics.
After a moment, everyone decided to fixate on the food and music playing rather than the situation that just happened.
But Haejun couldn't help but feel like everything was ruined. I should've told him to get dressed to go out.. instead I just embarrassed him in front of our friends. Haejun quietly sat down beside Elijah as the male grabbed slices of pizza for the two of them.
"Here." Elijah handed a plate to the male who took it and mumbled a thank you.
Elijah noticed his boyfriend's tone and his brows creased in concern. "Everything okay Jun?"
Haejun could feel himself tearing up and he really didn't want to cry here. "Give me a second." Haejun stood up and went to Elijah's room not expecting Elijah to follow him.
But how could Elijah let him go like that? Elijah was right behind Haejun when the male entered his room.
"Baby what's the matter?"
Haejun frowned,"I'm sorry Eli. I just wanted to make a nice surprise for your birthday." He sniffled and couldn't help but let the tears fall. "I'm a terrible boyfriend I should've planned this ages ago."
"Hey.. don't cry Jun." Elijah wrapped his arms around the male, "I don't even usually celebrate my birthday I'm so happy you put this together."
"But it wasn't perfect." He sniffled,"And now you're comforting me on your own birthday this is horrible." As upset as he was, he still let Elijah hold him.
