Haejun was a flustered mess as he finished putting sweatpants over his spandex and tying his shoes.
He ran to catch up with Kiandra who was waiting for him outside of the gymnasium. She was on her phone playing games peacefully until Haejun jumped on her.
"KI-AN-DRA!" Haejun yelled gaining the attention of everyone in the hallway.
Kiandra looked around in fear before realizing who was calling for her. She rolled her eyes and waited for Haejun to approach her before she pinched Haejun's cheek.
"We are indoors Jun." She grabbed his arm and pulled the bouncing boy with her outside so they could walk to his house.
"Kiandra you won't believe what just happened."
"Hm.. try me." She looked at Haejun with an amused smile ad they crossed the street together.
"Elijah came up to me and not only did he tell me he thought I did a good job.. he also said he liked my pony-tail! That may have been him joking though.. but it doesn't matter! He came up to me!"
Kiandra's eyebrows were raised and her lips were parted in shock.
"Wow. That's.. wow."
"This week has been the best week ever so far! Oh my gosh.. I might be dying happy even if nothing ever happened between him and I." Haejun was smiling hard and Kiandra couldn't contain her happiness for Haejun.
"Maybe we should get some ice cream to celebrate." Kiandra suggested and Haejun nodded eagerly.

Haejun sat down at the kitchen table with Hyunjun the next morning. He was bouncing his leg nervously.
Their mother put down plates of pancakes in front of them before asking,"Haejun-ah, is that girl Kiandra coming for breakfast today?"
"Hm? No. She said her dad was taking her to get donuts." The woman nodded and went to get dressed for work.
Haejun began to eat and Hyunjun looked at him skeptically. "Why are you so antsy? Is it a boy? I'll kill them-"
"No! The results for cheer come out today.. I'm nervous." Haejun spoke before grabbing his orange juice and taking a sip.
Hyunjun stared at him in confusion,"Cheer?"
"Yeah. I tried out for the team because one of the girls got injured."
"... but cheerleading? You do gymnastics.. Cheerleading for what sport, football?"Hyunjun asked.
Haejun nodded before speaking, "And basketball. And there's also competitions."
"What's the uniform?" Hyunjun asked.
"Well.. for the games I'd be wearing the uniform that comes with a skirt and a sparkly top, but for competitions-"
"No. Nope. No no no. You can't do cheer." Hyunjun interrupted.
"What why?!"
"You can't wear those skirts. They're too short for you."
"That's not fair!" Haejun exclaimed.
"I don't care Haejun." Hyunjun stood up and cleared his plate.
"Well if I get on the team, I'm going to participate, no matter what you say. Besides, Eomma already said I could."
Hyunjun glared at his younger brother,"No. You won't."
"Yes. I. Will." Haejun stood up and went to change for the day.
He decided on wearing something that would anger his brother and as a result, he wore a cropped polo shirt with his ripped jeans.
The boy re-entered the kitchen and grabbed his school bag.
"Absolutely not!" Hyunjun groaned.
"Eomma bought me this. I'm wearing it." Haejun put on his bag and started walking to school before Hyunjun could grab him and force him to change.
Haejun finally arrived at school and saw Kiandra sitting on a bench waiting for him.
"Woah, cropped shirt? What's the occasion?"
"Angering Hyunjun." Haejun spoke with a smirk.
"Well.. okay." Kiandra laughed and the two walked into school together.
The two could see the group of girls surrounding the informational bulletin board.
Kiandra and Haejun shared a look before Haejun slowly walked up to the front to see who got onto the team.
His eyes widened and he turned around to smile at Kiandra. Kiandra looked at his face and smiled back before opening her arms for a hug.
"Yes! Congrats Jun!"
Haejun hugged her back,"Thank you!"
The two separated and noticed a figure approaching them. "Congrats on making the team Haejun. Meet in the gymnasium after school today to try on the uniform." Alisa spoke.
Haejun nodded in understanding and Alisa smiled at him before leaving him behind.
Haejun turned around to leave with Kiandra when he bumped into a familiar broad chest. This time the person rested their hands on Haejun's arms.
"Are you always this clumsy? Or is it just around me?" Elijah asked with a smirk and Haejun felt the stuttering starting all over again. His cheeks were red as he stared up at Elijah.
But before he could embarass himself, Elijah was speaking again. "Congrats by the way." Elijah ruffled Haejun's hair with a smile before leaving.
Haejun remained frozen and Kiandra had to get him to class by dragging him to his locker so he could grab his textbooks.
"Y-you saw that, right?" Haejun asked in a hushed whisper.
"Yes. I did." Kiandra spoke with a smile and Haejun smiled back at her, trying not to scream.
