Elijah turned to Lucas in surprise,"What?"

"I-I um.." Lucas looked at Elijah nervously.

"How did you know about that?" Elijah asked in a hushed voice.

"Dude it was so obvious!" Lucas whined.

"Well.. he liked me before but he definitely shouldn't now. We had a conflict."

"What do you mean? Did you do something? What happened to Julian?"

"Why are you asking me this? Why do you care this much?" Elijah asked suspiciously and Lucas's cheeks turned red.

"Well.. I've liked him for a long time.. I only really realized it when we were spending all that time together without you.."

Elijah felt guilty for flaking on his friends for a moment,"Wait- how did you know he liked me though?"

"He was always looking at you, and that night when we went to party, he kept glaring at your boyfriend. I guess he knew you two had something going on before you even announced it."

Elijah sighed, he was about to say something else when the bell rang for their first class of the day,"Let's talk after school. I'm having lunch with my boyfriend."

Lucas nodded and the two males went their separate ways.

"What is this?!" Haejun exclaimed, causing Kiandra and another girl to pull away from each other quickly.

"Oh! Jun!" Kiandra exclaimed in surprise.

"Kiandra what are you doing?"

"Okay so.. Th-this is my g-girlfriend Lauren." Kiandra spoke softly.

It was lunch time and Haejun wanted to grab a new eraser from the art room before joining Elijah. What he didn't expect to see was Kiandra and another girl swapping spit.

Haejun frowned. "How long has this been a thing?"

"Um.. two weeks?" Kiandra spoke, Lauren rested her head on Kiandra's chest and hid her embarrassed face.

Haejun nodded,"Okay."

"Okay?"

"I get it.. I may have been really occupied with my own things.. but of all things.. I just thought you would tell me this.."

"Jun.."

"I'm going to go eat." Haejun grabbed the eraser and put it in his pocket as he left the art room with a frown.

"Why the long face babe?" Elijah asked as Haejun joined him in the courtyard.

".. It's not really something I should be upset about.. but I am.." He sighed. "I don't think I'm able to tell you about it."

Elijah looked at Haejun in concern,"Did something happen?"

"Not to me.. I just need to talk to Kiandra. Don't worry about me, I'm fine." Haejun took one of Elijah's fries and ate it.

"Hm.. okay.." Elijah continued eating with the male and enjoying the comfortable silence. "Don't be upset babe." Elijah spoke hoping to cheer up his upset boyfriend. He kissed Haejun's cheek and Haejun smiled softly.

"I hope you don't mind I have to meet up with Lucas after school today." Elijah spoke, swinging their intertwined hands as they walked to class.

"That's fine." Haejun and Elijah entered the math classroom and sat down in their seats. "I'll call you tonight."

"You want me to talk you to sleep?" Elijah asked with a smirk.

"Yes." Haejun blushed and looked away from his boyfriend.

Finally school ended and Elijah decided he didn't want to go to practice. They were so quick to dismiss him, so why would he go back there so soon. Clearly they thought he wasn't important to the team.

"Elijah?"

"Lucas?" Elijah turned his head to see Lucas. "So what's up?"

"I want to confess to Julian."

"Oh. Go for it?" Elijah asked in confusion.

"But he's been in a really bad mood recently. Like really sad.. And I don't know why."

Elijah sighed,"It's my fault.. he kind of came onto me and Haejun saw, so I was.. a bit harsh to him.. And he sort of cried."

Lucas bit his lip, feeling conflicted. "I've been comforting him all this time.. But I still want to tell him.."

"I think you should." Elijah spoke,"Just be honest with him. I'll talk to Julian about what happened so he can get closure first."

"You sure?" Lucas asked nervously.

"Yes. Very sure.. I can call him right now and ask him to meet up." Elijah offered and Lucas nodded. "Okay, I'll tell you what happens later." Elijah spoke.

"Why are you here Elijah?" Julian asked. He was surprised to find the guy he used to crush on at his front door.

"I think we need to clear the air on some things.."

Julian sighed,"I'm sorr-"

"You already apologized Julian. I know you felt remorseful for what you did. especially because I've never seen you cry like that.."

Julian felt himself testing up again,"I just regret it. I shouldn't have done that."

"Can we move past this..? I still want to be friends Julian.. but if you need time that's fine too."

Julian thought about it for a second. "I think we can be friends again." He smiled softly and Elijah returned it.

Julian was still someone important to him, even though he would never return the romantic feelings.
