He wants my hands around his what? But he's a guy.. Elijah thought to himself as he headed back to his table with his food. And that was such a terrible save.

Elijah sat down across from Julian and Lucas. "What took you so long?" Julian asked his friend who finally joined them at the table.

"Nothing. Just a weird.. conversation I overheard." Elijah grimaced. "Do you guys think I come off as a kinky person?"

Julian's eyes widened and Lucas almost spat out his drink.

"Kinky?!" Julian asked while patting Lucas' back so he didn't die from choking.

Elijah rolled his eyes,"Like. Can you imagine me choking someone during s-"

"Nope." Julian laughed. "Not in the slightest. You're like a good guy who never does anything scandalous."

"What does that mean?" Elijah raised an eyebrow.

"It means you're totally vanilla." Lucas spoke.

"Vanilla?!" Elijah exclaimed with a groan.

"It's not that bad. Some girls like vanilla." Lucas chirped and patted Elijah's shoulder.

Elijah rolled his eyes and thought for a moment before asking another question. "Do you guys think I'd get it on with another guy?"

Julian and Lucas froze before turning to Elijah curiously. "Dude, where are these questions coming from?"Lucas asked while stealing one of Julian's fries.

"I was just wondering. What's the big deal?" Elijah rolled his eyes.

"It's just.. weird.. not like being into guys is bad or anything.. but I never imagined you would be into guys.. a-are you into g-guys?" Julian spoke nervously.

"Wh-what no!" Elijah exclaimed and Julian had a weird look in his face.

"Also.. I don't think many of the other guys on the team would take too kindly to you being.. not straight." Lucas added and Julian looked at Lucas in concern.

"What?" Elijah was just becoming more confused with this conversation.

"Like.. if he were gay?" Julian spoke.

"It's not like he is though, Elijah hooks up with girls at parties all the time. They have a list going on in the girls bathroom I think."

"What the fuck? That's weird!" Elijah exclaimed drawing a bit of attention from the other football players who sat at the table with them.

"Some girls just enjoy your stroke game man. Keep up the good work." Lucas laughed and patted Elijah's shoulder.

Elijah rolled his eyes and shrugged off Lucas' hand. "Well I'm not even like that anymore. You know that I'm dating-"

"Eliiiii~" Alisa skipped over to his table and sat next to him her friend Noor followed her and sat down next to the girl.

"-Alisa."

"Hey Eli." She put one of her legs over his and he chose to ignore it. He had nothing against her.. but he just didn't find himself particularly attracted to her.

It was unfortunate because she was such a nice girl too.

"Hey."  Elijah made a face to Lucas and Julian to not reference the conversation they were just having and the two got the message.

"What were you guys talking about?" Alisa asked taking one of her fries and putting it into her mouth.

"Ah.. today's practice." Elijah spoke in an attempt to change the conversation.

"Oh, okay." Alisa directed her attention to him for a moment before spiraling off in a conversation with Noor who just listened to her with a smile.

Elijah glanced at her before looking across the cafeteria to see the boy from earlier. I'm pretty sure he's in our class.. why don't I know his name..

What's it like dating a guy.. wait.. what's it like having sex with a guy? Why don't I look like someone who would have sex with a guy? What do guys who have sex with other guys even look like-

"Earth to Elijah!" Julian snapped in front of his friend's face and stopped him from zoning out.

Elijah realized that the boy he was looking at was staring right back at him with a red face.

Weird.

"What are you thinking about?" Alisa asked,"You look like you were contemplating all your decisions throughout life."

"I kinda was.." He mumbled.

"What?" Alisa asked.

"I was thinking about today's game."

"Dude don't even worry about that, the team we're up against had literally never won." Lucas spoke with a laugh.

Elijah smiled while rolling his eyes,"Thanks for the positive reassurance."

"Also lunch is over, walk me to class!" Alisa said with a smile as she stood up.

Elijah followed her but found that his mind wasn't with him. He couldn't help but think about that kid who practically turned into a tomato when they made eye contact.

There was just.. something interesting about him.

When a new character is introduced I'll out their image at the top. One thing I tried to do was find people who looked like actual teenagers.. no shade to the others but c'mon now ‼️
