"I should've written a will. I think I'll give you all my hoodies and crew necks. So you can still smell my amazing scent." Elijah muttered as he held the phone to his ear. He was on the phone with Haejun right before their dinner.
"What are you talking about?" Haejun giggled.
"This is going to be my last day on earth. Your brother will literally kill me." Elijah put the phone on speaking and rested it on his dresser while he adjusted his tie.
"Oh my God Elijah, you're being dramatic."
"Am not." Elijah whined playfully.
"Are too." Haejun countered.
"Haejun."
"Baby."
"Fuck. Everytime you say that my heart melts a little more. You cute piece of shit."
Haejun laughed into the phone and Elijah smiled hearing his boyfriend's happy voice.
"So are flowers okay?" Elijah asked.
"I think so.. I'm not sure if we have any vases though."
"Damn it.. I could stop by a store and get chocolate.."
"Eli that's not necessary, just come over."
"Baby I want to leave a good impression on your mom." Elijah whined and Haejun made a noise. "Are you rolling your eyes?" Elijah asked.
"Nooo~"
"Well I'm leaving right now, I'll call you when I'm at the door."
"Okay~ Byebye~"
"Bye~" Elijah hung up the phone and sighed. I'll just do it right now, and then leave so they can process it.
Elijah made his way down to the kitchen holding the bouquet of flowers. His mom was reading a magazine on the barstool while his dad was making pastries.
"Oh Eli. You're dressed so nicely." Elijah's mother commented.
"Ah yeah.. I got invited to dinner."
"Just be back before 11, it's a school night." His mom spoke.
"Why do you have flowers?" His father asked with a smirk.
"They're for.. my boyfriend's mother.. Because I'm dating a boy. Because I'm bi. And I like boys and girls."
Elijah paused for a second and looked at his frozen parents,"Alright bye!"
Elijah bolted out of the house and his parents looked at each other in shock.
