It was red and bloody all around the room, the warmth swarming all over his hands and arms. Forget having wished to have more strength, but causing a massacre was the least of things he'd wanted.
So he stood there, watching them struggle to move for a while and heaved a sigh. At least he didn't hit them too hard.
Having thought of that, he made a run for it out of the restaurant and dived into the woods. There were no cars parked let alone any sign of busses or drivers. But having to run down the whole mountain himself was just too much of a struggle either. So the moment he landed back on the road, he took his phone out and dial'ed a call to the only person he could think of right now. "Yibo? Didn't think you'd call first. No, wait. I'm... actually glad. About the past month I'm sor-"
"Cut that out! Do you know where that restaurant Jun visits is? The one in the mountains." Mingyu thought for a bit, later sighing. "There is no way of me knowing about that. What is this about- where are you?" Yibo huffed a breath as he stopped by a tree and leaned against it. "In the woods... on a mountain. That asshole took me here to have a talk, got me drunk and then hired some men to..."
Mingyu continued to listen, unknowing of the reason for his pause. "...?"
"To- to do things! Like beat me and stuff- anyways! I hit them and ran away. Now I'm stuck here." Mingyu held his head, his voice now sounding angry. "Hope you hit them hard enough to make them bleed." Yibo looked down at the blood under his finger nails and crouched down. "Don't worry about that... do you think you can come get me?"
"At least you have service there. Send me your location and I'll come pick you up." With that, things unraveled quickly and Yibo was seated on the front seat of his car beside him, covered in a thick jacket. "To think that they ripped off your clothes... fuck." Mingyu gripped the steering wheel as though it had been done to him and Yibo just rolled his eyes.
"I don't even know why you're pretending to care when you have clearly shown that I am of no value to you whatsoever." Mingyu furrowed his brows while glancing at Yibo's face from the rearview mirror. "I'm sorry that I couldn't call you after the trial. I was busy with work and-"
"You mean you were busy with Zhan." Mingyu kept silent so the latter continued. "You can cut the bullshit from now on, I know you two keep in contact despite the so called procedure he has to follow."
"Look, even if he could call you, he would still choose not to. If the word ever got out that he was still with you, then people inside the company could get a hold of it and let the word reach the president's ears." Yibo side eyed him and leaned his head back. "Right, he's trying to protect me and all that shit- I know already. But too bad I don't want any of it."
Mingyu swallowed, his gaze deepening as though in a dream. "Then forget about him. He has made you suffer enough already. You waiting for him is just patting him on the back for biting you." Yibo then suddenly grabbed him from his collar, pulling his neck towards him. "And who are you to tell me that? You're just a two faced son of a bitch who can't take no for an answer! Why do you even think you're here? Because Zhan told you to didn't he? If you had the slightest conscience and strength in yourself, then you would do as you'd want and not at under someone else's command!"
Just as he said that the car came to an abrupt halt. Shaken by the gravity inside the car Yibo couldn't comprehend a hand grabbing his chin and then being pulled in for a kiss. As his lips were swarmed by the warmth of the man before him, his hands were quick to push him off and gasp for air. "You-!"
"There! Here is the truth then. You remember why I approached you the first time we met right? That is because I like you. And even though it may not be too much, I know that you care for me too. So if it ever comes to it, leave him and choose me. I would never do anything to make you hurt like he did."
