Mingyu stared down at a handful of documents which had been slammed on the ground without his notice. His brows furrowed in confusion as he raised his head up to now look at Zhan. "I'm sorry if I didn't get the memo- but what is this?" Yet as soon as he said that, Zhan didn't give him another moment to think, raising his arm before swinging his fist across his face.

Baffled and surprised, Mingyu moved a couple steps back from the impact, now holding his bleeding lip. And once Zhan was satisfied with the outcome, he continued to speak. "These documents have all the information you can use against my father. The money laundering, a clear record on the information considering from the smallest corruption my great grand father has used in order to succeed the company, all the way to the gambling and the embezzlement that has taken place hitting back to five generations."

Mingyu was still confused, not understanding why he was handing him all of this out of the blue. Something was amiss. "Okay... and what the hell was that for?" Zhan furrowed his brows, one of his fists clenched to ease the pain after the harsh hit. "Because I trusted you. I left you here to support me and what do you do? You decide to go behind my back."

Mingyu gave Wei a glance, at which the latter shrugged his shoulders at. He was indicating that it was not his problem despite having told Zhan of the truth himself instead of letting the one at fault to do it. It bothered Mingyu a tad bit, but seeing that things had come to unravel this way, he decided to just let it all out. Because in his eyes, it was Zhan who was at fault and not the other way around.

"Go behind your back? It was you who ignored me for half a damn year, not involving me in your recent plans or even thinking about informing me of what has happened! And now here you come, telling me that I was the one who lost your trust. What about you? Might as well have removed me from the picture all together."

Zhan sighed at that, now crossing his arms "You're overreacting. We might've gotten involved in this together, but that does not mean the position you have now has changed for the better yet. I had to do what I had to as it was within my capabilities. And whether I choose to tell you about my plans or not is not left for you to question."

Mingyu frowned, shaking his head. "You just said that we are in this together. You're the one who decided to involve me. And my agreement on this only adds to the fact that this is a two man operation. But it seems that it was only me who put his trust into you. And not-"

"Hey! I trusted you plenty for the past two and a half years! I kept you involved in everything I was planning about from A to Z, but decided to keep you out of this one thing because it was my fucking problem to face. I chose to blow up the company, and by doing so, I have gotten my hands on the very authentic documents that you need in order to take that stupid position you so much want! You have no right to question me at all when all I've accomplished by doing this was to give you what you want! And while at it, I ended up taking some of the taste myself. Got a problem with that? Thought so."

Mingyu sighed, simply baffled at this point. "You were the one who did that!? See? I'm hearing of this just now... I'm starting to think that I am but a pawn that is waiting on the side for you to use. Is that how you see me?" Zhan scoffed, taking a step forth. "Would it make you feel better if I said yes? I bet that it would be enough to justify your actions. Are you really the one to talk?" As he then reached his hands to hold him from his collar, Mingyu's eyes widened. "After telling you to keep an eye on him... to keep him safe, there you go and put your hands on him instead! Do you take me for a joke you asshole!?"

Wei was starting to get worried as he watched Mingyu land a punch on Zhan's face next. "You think you're my boss for ordering me around like that? Just piss off! You don't have the right to tell me that after treating him like shit! Do you even know what he went through while you weren't here? Do you know of the problems you caused him after leaving him all alone like that?"
