When tiny ice crystals stick together they become snowflakes. As they then fall from the sky, the freezing cold floats them to their destination with the help of the seven winds combined. And as the tiny flakes meet the ground, the heat that once was far from their reach engulfs them in its flames, consuming to transform the tiny little life to a hot body of water.

That was how he would describe desire to be, if ever even asked. Or maybe his mind was just attacked by the endless snow, which seemed to never end after a five whole days. The streets were covered with thick layers of it, causing foot on traffic, yet the cars seemed pretty comfortable thanks to the industrial help of their hot motors.

Yibo just happened to be one of those idiots who did not care for any of it, and had ended up throwing himself to a nearby bar on foot. His motorcycle was too precious to be taken out in this weather, and he had just happened to sell his car the other day after deciding that it was pointless to keep it. He hadn't even cleaned it since that time him and Li Na had sat on his front seat covered in chocolate.

Thinking of the devil herself, he couldn't help but catch a glimpse of her petty little hands that waved at him from afar. Despite being quite small in size, she still had a mysterious elegance about her which many men seemed to like. Yet for Yibo, it was just another story. "Hey! Try and wave back at least!"

Yibo gave her a small shrug as he watched her take a seat before him at the table. "What, you waved? I swear I saw nothing, you sure your arms were stretched enough?" She ended up punching him on the shoulder and grinned. "Stubborn idiot."

"Shorty."

"Flat face."

"Flat what- don't make me call you the 'm' word that ends with 't'." Li Na squinted her eyes playfully before grabbing the menu. "Fair enough...... so how have you been doing? Did you move out of Zhan's house yet?"

Yibo looked down at his empty glass. "Yeah. I found a new flat near the company. It's more convenient to use as well. Got settled in last week."

Li Na frowned back at him, finding this whole thing ridiculous. "And then what- you're just going to run away from him after he comes back?" Yibo hummed. "It's on the contract, no can do-"

"Really? No can do? Because we can totally sue him again-"

"No no... it's fine. And I'm pretty sure that he has already forgotten about it anyways. It's been almost two years since I signed the paper after all. Too far in the past to care about I suppose." Li Na's frown fell, now seeming to feel bad. "What about Zhan... still no word from him?"

Yibo took in a deep breath before sighing out loud. He then reached into his pocket and took out a pack of the same usual cigarettes Zhan smoked. Or he at least hoped he still smoked. "Honestly, even if he sent me a letter or called me it wouldn't matter. Not anymore anyways. His promises are way past overdue and... as much as I hate to admit, Jun was kind of on point about me being in denial and stuff..."

Li Na oh'ed. "You've decided to move on? It's odd to hear these things after having listened to you defend Zhan that day after the trial. I suppose time does help with healing the wounds." Yibo shrugged, puffing up a smoke while at it. "Maybe. To be honest, I don't know what I want. I just need some peace and quiet after all that stress and... horrible, horrible experiences." She couldn't disagree. "And besides, the matter of time being helpful is quite accurate. Being away from him for so long... it used to feel like I was back to the days in those three years we were separated, and now it just feels empty. Three years have passed just like that yet again.. but it just feels different. I can't really describe it."

Li Na raised her brows, now leaning in on the table. "I see what you're going through but it's hard for me to comprehend. I have never been where you were."
