It was hot. It was burning, almost scorching. His skin felt like it had touched the sun despite there being moonlight behind him. His heart was loud. As loud as the sirens screaming in his head. He was also breathless, mouth dry and palms sweaty from the unbearable excitement he was feeling.
Zhan had never been so overwhelmed by the words spoken by someone else, let alone be at a loss of words for what was yet to come.
Unable to hold back the desire to hold him in his arms, he suddenly heaved Yibo up and spun him around like the happiest man alive. Becasue he was, he knew he was.
"W-wait- I'll fall!" Yibo laughed in slight shock and amusement while Zhan shook his head as he stopped at his steps. "I won't let you. You know I won't." Something about those words spoken while staring into his eyes sounded like the sweetest melody, making Yibo feel all the more warm inside. Just like the latter, and maybe even more. "You don't know how full my heart feels...." Zhan then sighed while leaning his own head against his, brushing it ever so softly. "I hope that your feelings never change..."
Yibo smiled, now hugging him tightly by the neck. "You shouldn't worry about that... because I won't." Zhan chuckled, both of their gazes now locked once more. It felt like a wall had been broken down, there being nothing left to hold them back.
And so they locked their lips also, feeling each other's warmth once again. Zhan's arms carried Yibo's weight as though he were a feather, making them seem like a painting from afar. At least that's how pretty Yibo was feeling from being held up like a swan.
In the middle of their kissing, Zhan licked his lips and pulled himself back, eyes wide open to see him once more. "Say it again. Say that you love me again.." Yibo's face flushed slightly red at his request, feeling himself be out there without a place to hide. He knew he wouldn't be able to hide his face let alone his embarrassment if he continued to be held by him.
So he averted his gaze and shook his head. "Only if you put me down..." Zhan chuckled through his raspy breath and leaned his lips next to his ear. "But I want to hold you..." Yibo swallowed, his ear tickling slightly. "T-then let's sit down at least..."
Zhan pretended to think about it while playfully humming, making the latter catch up on his act rather quickly. "I'm not sure I can. So come on... just say the words..."
Yibo's lips pouted, eyes squeezed shut. He then hugged Zhan tightly, now pressing his lips against his ear just like he had done to him. "I like you."
Yet Zhan didn't budge, his body as still as a stone statue. "Why won't you sit? H-hey..." Zhan tilted his head back and sighed. "Is that all? You just 'like' me?"
Yibo shook his head, feeling bothered all of a sudden. "What- no! I... I don't just... not that I.. just... you know what I told you." Both then started to move around the room, Zhan carrying Yibo towards the bookshelves. "If it's not that then tell me what you're really thinking."
Yibo was being pushed into a corner the more he resisted, feeling his heart thump loudly with every excruciatingly slow step the latter would make. He had been high on pleasure when he had spoken those words he wanted to hear, having found them easier to voice when his mind and emotions were in a heightened state. But now they were calm, and the latter expectant for more.
He felt shy to the ground, his lips soon trembling from fear. The fear of being exposed truly. "I'm still waiting..." Yet Zhan's charm was something he could not avoid forever either, his way of words soon seeping themselves into his heart like alcohol would into his blood.
And the final straw ended up being that deep gaze of his, as Zhan now pressed him against the bookshelf behind, holding him up from his thighs tightly. His fingers were squeezing his skin like a pair of warm yet wet gloves, making his bottom clench then loosen with lust.
