Two weeks have gone by and things have gotten quite interesting. Flynn and I have been sneaking around on dates. We aren't officially dating yet but he's an absolute sweetheart. He brings me coffee when I study in the library and makes me cute little paper shapes with love letters written inside. Aside from that, Levi's dating some girl named Briana. She's in my English class, she always sits in the back and doesn't know when to close her trap. She's pretty I guess, but something is off about her. Archie's been too busy with projects and clubs to even be home. He should just live on campus at this point. Miles on the other hand has been distant, thank God. I haven't had any issues with him.

Apart from everything, I finally got my truck back. So now I can drive wherever I want without having to wait for anyone.

At the moment, I was walking to my anatomy lab class. Once I entered, I was surprised to see Miles sitting his seat on time. I took my seat next to him. It was silent between us until class started.

"Welcome class, this week is going to be different," My lab instructor started, "With your lab partner, you'll be working on a project together. It will be on a randomly picked body system. You will have to create a presentation with a prototype on how it works in the body," He tells us.

I look over at Miles, who was smirking at me. And just to think I was getting rid of him. This can't happen, we can barely stand each other. Let alone, breath together in the same room.

Our instructor goes over the requirements of the project before going on with the lesson. After the lesson was over, I got up and went over to my instructors desk.

"Is there anyway, I can switch my partner?" I ask politely.

"Julia, you know I can't do that. I told you at the beginning of the semester that the person next to you is your permanent partner," He types on his computer.

"But it's because-

He cut me off, "Look, Julia this is reality. When you get a job you're gonna have to work with people you don't like. So my answer is no," He said firmly.

"Thanks," I mumble before walking away. I walk out the door and to my right I see Miles leaning on the wall. His back against is and his leg as support.

"Nice try," Miles comments as I pass him.

I stop in my tracks and turn around, "What?"

"I said nice try," He repeats himself.

"In doing what exactly?" I cross my arms over my chest.

"Trying to get out of the project with me," He snickers before pushing himself off the wall.

"Yeah, you aren't the dandiest person to work with," I give a fake smile before it returning to a straight face.

"And you are?" He scoffs.
