"Hey Fay" I kiss her cheek and sit down next to her. "How are you today?" I ask, but like every day since her birthday, only silence greets me. "I have someone with me today," I continue and stand up, walking to the windows.
"Hey Fay!" she gulps. "God Jupiter! You could have warned me," Phoebe scolds me.
"About what?" I ask, opening the curtains.
"Her neck, is that going to heal?"
"We don't know." I walk back to the bed and look at her neck. "Roan, Nixon's wolf is trying to reach out to Aria but nothing. We are afraid that she lost her. Everyone looked at her, tried his own way of heeling but__"
"She doesn't deserve this." Phoebe says and takes Fay's hand in hers.
"No one does. She is strong, she is going to get through this." I mumble. I have said that already so much, to so many people. Maybe if we all believe it__ I sigh.
"Good Morning girls," the next visitor greets us.
"Good Morning grandma Maria," I greet her.
"How is she doing today?"
"The same as yesterday," I huff.
Grandma shakes her head at me "patience sweetheart. She is healing, she will wake up. I feel it in my bones."
"I have been patient but 4 months__" I mutter and sigh. "Sorry, I just miss her. I need her, we all need her. Did you see Nicon? Syringa? Isaac? They aren't doing good."
"I know but we only can have fate that she will pull through. And you need to calm down, it's not good for the baby." She mutters the last part.
I groan, ever since I found out that I was pregnant they treat me like I am made of glass. I'm not a delicate little doll. I am Jupiter, fire Fae, mate of fucking Orlo. I am strong!
"Please Fay, wake up, they are going to place me in a golden cage." I beg. "And I want you with me when the baby is born."
"She is smiling, is that normal?" Phoebe asks, surprised.
"She does that sometimes. We hope and think that she can hear us."
"Oh! I have news too. I went on a date yesterday with__" Phoebe starts.
"You went on a date?" I scoff. "What about Ewald?"
Phoebe frownes "he isn't my mate, remember."
"Right. Well, that's not true." I say and place my hand on my stomach, feeling the baby kick. Strong like me and Orlo.
"What do you mean?" Phoebe asks.
"Your parents asked Ewald to give you__"
"They what?" she jumps up and walks towards the door.
"Where are you going?" I ask her.
"Ewald!"
I groan "I did it again."
