I heard someone whispering followed by a groan and I scented Lucian in our room. I opened my eyes, he stood over Ivy "you need to get up Ivy, breakfast is waiting."

"It's too early," she groaned again.

"I know but my parents rise early, they are probably already waiting for us."

"Uh__" I sat up from my mattress "Can I come with you to the palace? I would like to see my aunt and uncle" I asked. Lucian seemed hesitant and for a moment he looked away, he was definitely mind linking someone.

"Okay, fine. But we leave in 15." He placed a kiss on Ivy's head and left the room.

"I have the feeling that I'm missing something here." I said to Ivy who just smiled at me. I took some clothes and left the room to find a free bathroom. 13 minutes later I stepped outside and waited for the others. I was definitely missing something when I saw Fay follow Ivy out of the house. They didn't say anything, and we all stepped in the car. Orwin greeted us all and started babbling about his mate that was expecting their first pup. Fay smiled and asked him questions, but I had the feeling that it was more to keep her mind off something else.

At first, I was hesitant when I first met her, but she is very likeable. And meeting my friends, who can sometimes be a bit odd, she just smiled and accepted them. She never judged them and took her time to get to know them.

I'm sure that Elmer saw something when he took her hand, but he didn't want to share what he had seen. I did try to make him tell me, but he kept refusing. She was sweet and smiled at everyone but when nobody looked, she seemed so sad. Nell, my wolf said that Aria, Fay her wolf, was grieving but she didn't know for what. Alma told me that she had the feeling that Fay was holding back. Hiding her power. Maybe Alma is right, I have seen her wolf, Aria is very strong and big. I'm curious about her witch gene. How strong is it? Is she a wolf with a bit of which gene or is she a wolf witch hybrid? She is definitely hiding something. And now she is coming with Lucian and Ivy to the palace. For what? I asked myself and just then I heard her say "I can't wait to see the Queen her garden again."

"I didn't knew you visited it already" I said.

"Yeah, last year." She smiled at me, but her blue eyes hadn't the brightness they had when we were in the desert. Or when she saw the blood moon.

Aunt Syringa and Uncle Isaac were waiting for our arrival in the hall, and they seemed very excited. Till their eyes fell on me "Paris? I didn't knew you were coming too. Do you parents know that you are here?" Aunt Syringa asked.

"Yes, they know. What is going on? Aren't you happy to see me?" I asked them with a frown.

"Of course, we are happy to see you, honey. Come, breakfast is waiting." Aunt Syringa pulled me and Fay with her. Lucian and Ivy went the other way "see you later!" Ivy yelled. This is getting stranger with the minute. Aunt Syringa and Uncle Isaac were waiting to have breakfast but not with Lucian and Ivy and definitely not with me. They didn't knew I was coming. They were only expecting Fay. How well does she knows them?
