I felt the grasp escape my waist and I instantly missed the warm feeling. I allowed myself to take off the bandana and when I looked around the room I saw Taylor holding the best that once laid on my bed.
"Sowwy." he pouted brining the bear and chocolate to my hands. I couldn't help but shake my head at his pathetic mess and smile. It's adorable, even though I hate everything about this.
"You're not into these stuff are you?" I nod my head and made a disgusted face, "but coming from you, I love it." He brought his arms over me and embraced me in a hug.
I was lead to the bed to take a seat. "I would talk to you here but you probably don't like what I did to your environment. Besides, its a Saturday night. Want to get out of here?" He was holding both of my hands. I don't remember a time when we shared this connection besides the times he would sneak me out so late. Which was last week.
"Downtown cruising again, like when we first hung out, well with the guys." I nodded in response to his offer. "Tell your mom goodnight now." I rolled my eyes thinking about that situation. I let it fly to the back of my head because I had Taylor and Cameron all day. "It's fine. I don't need to." I looked out my window and saw my dads car wasn't here, he's the only one I would regard but not here.
We walked down the house and I slowed down to ask Taylor something. "How'd you get in." He hopped down the stairs and opened the door for me like a gentleman he is, "Thank Cameron."
We went into his car and I begged him to tell me everything. I swear Cameron was with me earlier and now he's gone. "Cameron told me everything about you. He told me to come over. He told me his feelings for you but he's pushing it aside because he thinks you can do better. He's a great guy and I love him a lot thanks to you. You may not want to date him but keep him around longer alright? He was cuddling with you too and didn't want to wake you up so I had to sneak in the window and we tried to replace the warmth and I end up cuddling you until I sense you were about to wake up." His cheeks fluttered in Crimson as I just giggled at the thought of Cameron being such a good person. "Yeah I love Cam."
"I see why you keep him around now. I thought he was clingy towards you but now I know he's okay to let go." Taylor pat my leg, turned on the radio and we drove downtown just looking at the night lights and how Christmas bulbs wrapped around the palm trees as they formed a perfect perspective.
He parked at a public curb and dispensed like eight quarters inside the city parking dispenser (forgot what those are actually called) wow four dollars, are we really staying up this late. Usually it's a dollar for an hour.
"Sorry. I wanted to get some hot chocolate with you and just walk, if that's okay?" The way Taylor asked for my permission.
I adored it.
"Perfect."
We walked side by side just admiring the night until he stumbled upon a train station. "Never been on one of these. Want to try?"
I nodded in approval and went to the booth of the Bart to get a slip.
Once we got in he allowed me to step in first. He pat his lap signaling me to rest my head on him as I took up about three seats. I looked into his eyes and he just skimmed his hands through my hair. Comfort.
"So... I've been needing to ask you."
Omfg, what what what?!
"If you don't want Gilinsky to go, want me to cancel it? Like tell him not to..."
I closed my eyes.
"Look, I can't stop you from making friends."
All I heard was the bart getting in ignition and I could sense there was a crease forming on Taylor lips. A smile. Before I knew it, his lips laid upon my forehead.
Can't ask for a better night.
"One more week..."
