POV: Enid

"C'mon spill." Fatima say, rubbing her hands together.

She always does that when she's excited about something.

"Well, I made a friend Allison, who introduced me to her friends, Leo and Mia during lunch break. They're nice." I shrugged.

"Sounds like I'm getting replaced," she said while faking a pout.

I chuckle and sat down beside her on my bed.

"You know that will never happen right? Cause we're glued together babes." I said making her smile and giving me a quick hug.

"Yeah that's right girl, we ride or die, no way out bitch." she said making me laugh.

"Okay. What else? Nothing interesting?" Tima asked after our laughter died down.

"Umm....except for people staring at me and whispering, obviously gossiping about the new girl." I say shrugging.

"Well, I wouldn't be surprise they were whispering about how beautiful my best friend is," Tima said smiling. she love using any chance she gets to compliment me.

"I'm sure that was not the reason." I let out a sigh while laying down.

It had only been day one, and I'm already not liking it there.

"Hey, I'm saying the truth babes. Have you seen yourself E?" She asked sarcastically, trying to lift my mood. This is one of the things I love about Fatima, I don't need to tell her how I feel for her to know.

I rolled my eyes at her playfully with a smile on my lips before saying, "but seriously though, it wasn't because of that."

"Okay, so why were they whispering?"  Fatima asked, also laying down.

"I'm thinking it because I defended myself from this blonde girl and her friends who ran into me. They demanded I apologize to their friend but I refused to and walked out on them, she was the one who bumped into me." I simply tell her.

"Good, we don't get stomped on." Tima high–five me. "but why would they demand you to say sorry to her even though she was the one who ran into you?" She asked confused.

"Well according to Allison, she is one of the Golden Four there." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Golden four?" Tima asked.

"Yeah. Some entitled kids" I reply nonchalantly.

"So you got on the queen bee's bad side on your first day?! Now that's my girl." She exclaimed like a proud mother.

"Easy tiger," I chuckled lightly. "She isn't a queen bee, she's more of a trouble maker as of what I've seen today. " I told my best friend, recalling how the blonde walked in late in Chemistry class, and left again because the teacher told her she would get detention next time if she is late again with no good excuse.

"Oh, and that got people talking bout you?" She asked, her facial features contouring into a confuse look again.

"Yeah.Well, apparently they're untouchable, and no one has ever stood up to them before." I shrugged.

"And you did, I'm proud of you babes." Tima said, applauding dramatically. I just shook my head at her, smiling at her dramatics.

"But you also have to be careful, I won't be around to save your ass." she says, making the both of us to laugh.
