POV: Enid
Fatima and I were dancing to her favourite song.Well she was more like drunkily jumping around.
Suddenly she started waving like the crazy girl she is.
I didn't think much of it since she is so wasted and continue swaying my body to the loud music.
That's until I felt a presence behind me.
"Hey Olivia!" My best friend happily shouted over the loud music. I stop dancing immediately as my whole body froze, hearing the very familiar name that has been living rent-free in my head these past few days.
Slowly, I turn my whole body to face the blonde. Her ocean blue orbs ran all over my body uncontrollably before meeting my brown ones.
Is she checking me out?
I could feel the heat radiating from my cheeks from all the attention I was getting from the blonde. I looked away from her smiling, as I tuck a strand of stray hair behind my ear.
"Close your mouth before a bug gets in," my stupid best friend who can't keep her mouth shut teased Olivia. I glared at Tima as Olivia quickly looked away blushing?
No it can't be, I'm drunk that's why I'm seeing things.
Fatima was still mocking the blonde who was looking away from us. I shoot the curly haired girl deadly glares for her to stop the teasing, but she only ignored me continuing to tease the blonde.
I really don't get this girl sometimes.
"C'mon guys, the game has already begun!" Mia, who has been missing for an hour now, slurred loudly as she came stumbling to us.
Allison and Leo stop dancing immediately and follow the red head, who was walking really funny to where the game was being played.
"Let go you guys," Tima said, already following behind my friends.
This girl and having fun are like five and six.
Olivia looked back at me, and I couldn't help but smile at her. I had no idea where the courage came from as I moved my hand forward for Olivia to take.
Blame it on the alcohol. Which by the way, Tima forced me to have one shot which eneded up being four more shots with her.
I saw Olivia's smile widen as she grab my hand in hers. And oh boy, I felt my stomach doing summersaults.
It was really a strange feeling to me, I was so giddy and nervous as I silently hope my hands were not sweaty.
Olivia and I walked hand in hand, in a comfortable silence until we arrived where the said game was about to be played.
As soon as we arrived, Olivia was being called by someone from the small crowd.
I saw Olivia's eyes roam about, trying to find who called her. I guess being popular means getting instantly recognize by people everywhere you go.
And just like that, my good mood is ruined.
I roll my eyes as I saw Marisa walking towards us, a very fake smile present on her face. She pretended as if I was never standing besides Olivia, but I saw her eyes lingered on Olivia and I's connected hands for a brief moment before looking away.
