POV:Enid
"I'm all ears." Tima said, her voice filled with curiosity and teasing as we entered my bedroom.
We're now at my house, and no one was home as always. Dad was away for work and Hamida at Daisy's house. Mrs Huggins, Daisy's mother, pick her up from school every day, and bring her home when I'm back from school. She would be here soon.
Tima and I just finished praying zuhr (prayed at noon, around 2:10 pm) and Asr (prayed late in the afternoon, around 4:24 pm), we couldn't pray them on time because of school. So we just pray them after school.
I enter my bedroom right behind Tima and took off my brown Abaya, hanging it in my wardrobe. I flopped myself on my bed next to my nosey best friend, who was waiting for me to tell her everything.
"Are you gonna tell me who that hottie was or not?" Tima asked, I could see the anticipation in her brown eyes as she stared right in my eyes.
"First of all, she is not hot." I said, rolling my eyes at the curly haired girl.
"Girl, are you blind?!" Tima shouted surprised.
"My eyes are perfectly okay, maybe yours need check up though," I shot back jokingly. Tima just chuckle and shook her head.
"She is the captain of the female football team, and a resident Playgirl there so to speak, known to have single-handedly made lot of girls realized they're either gay or bisexual. She has almost the entire school at her feet." I said, recalling what my friends had told me. I was really annoyed and confuse at how most girls and boys throw themselves at her in School. It like they worship her.
Well I shouldn't be surprised, she looks like a Greek goddess.
What are you thinking??
Stupid brain.
Maybe it's because her parents are the richest people in town. Well that's what Allison and Mia had told me. They had also told me that her parents also owns the largest shares of the school that they literally owns it.
"For me, she's just some stuck up, entitled, cocky, and fucking annoying!" I lashed out.
"Woah, calm down E." Tima said laughing lightly. "You never swear unless you're really, really frustrated," she added looking a bit serious.
"She's so annoying!" I groaned. Tima just laugh, finding my frustration amusing.
"But she's hot," Tima said, wiggling her brows and grinning widely.
"Tima," I whined.
"What?" She asked sacastically between laughter. I just shook my head at her and getting up and going downstairs to the kitchen, with her right behind me.
I took out the leftover mac and cheese from this morning, from the refrigerator and put into the microwave and turned it on. I was getting hungry, and Hamida would be here any minute. And she would probably be hungry too.
"If you're this frustrated by just talking about her, she has really got under your skin well." Tima said while bursting into a fit of laughter again.
"Because she's so annoying," I said plainly turning off the microwave and taking the bowl of mac and cheese out. I placed it on top of the counter, and Tima brought the plates.
"You're such a granny you know," my best friend teasingly said. "how can someone that hot be annoying?!" She added, giving an unbelievable joking face.
"Remember the girl I stood up to on my first day at school?" I asked Tima, ignoring her question while dishing out the mac and cheese on our plates.
"Hm-mm," She hummed.
