I rushed through the crowds. Crap. I'm late. Really late. I knew I should've woken up earlier but I couldn't help it. The novel was getting to the good part.

I sigh and wait for the next bus. When does it arrive anyway?

14 minutes!?

Come on! I wait beside the bus and watch the birds flying around. The chicks in the nest in a nearby tree. They're so cute.

I sigh and glance down at the time, technically I'm not late yet but I will be in 3 minutes. It's not the first time either. I might actually get in trouble.

I get out my phone and glance at it once again a few minutes later. Surprised I see multiple text messages from my boss. I open up the messages.

Crap.

Today the biggest investor is visiting. Of course it's today. Of course it would actually be the one day I'm late this entire month.

I read through the messages. 'Where are you? We need you to get here as soon as possible! You're 5 minutes late. The biggest investor is checking out the company. If we don't satisfy them, they could leave us at any moment. We can't let that happen. Seriously, where are you?!'
I check the time, the bus should be arriving in a minute. The most recent message was from one minute ago.

I text him back reluctantly 'I'm so sorry. I'm on my way boss, I'll be there in 15 minutes at the latest'.

The bus finally arrives and I step on as fast as I can, wishing everyone else would do the same. Finally we set off, I tug the rope and get off.

Running to the building.

I rush in and head upstairs, desperately trying to make the elevator go faster. Pressing the buttons as fast as I can.

Finally I get to my floor, i rush out and run to the meeting room, as fast as I can in my heels.
I'm almost there, I finally-

...

Bump into someone. Ow.

I rub my head and try to see, who is this? He looks so familiar.

"Y/N?" I hear his voice, he sounds amused. I look up, he's pretty tall. I'd say we have nearly a foot difference.

"Huh?" I respond, glancing up at him. He really does look familiar. How does he know my name?

"It's me, Gojo! Are you okay?" He asks with a cheeky grin.

"Oh." That's all I can say at the moment, I rub my head a little more before the realization finally sinks in.

Ohhhhh. It's Gojo. It's my old classmate. My old friend. Oh and, he's my old-old crush. Wow.

"Really, that's all you have to say?" He asks, still looking amused. He tilts his head, with a bright smile on his face.

"Oh, sorry. Hey. What are you doing here? It's been so long since we've seen each other!" I say excitedly. I haven't seen anyone from high school in a while.  Not to mention, I met him before high school. We were middle-schoolers together. He was my best friend for a few years before we drifted apart little by little. He still has that same white hair, dazzling blue eyes, and cheeky smile. He hasn't changed one bit.

"I'm just here to check out the company as an investor." He says, seemingly bored. "Yeah, I can't believe it, it's been a while!" He says in a more excited tone.

"Oh." I respond.

Ohhh. He's the big investor.

Wait. He's the big investor?
