"You...you're the big investor?" The words come out without thinking. The elevator rings signifying we've reached our level. I see the doors open as my boss and many others turn to look at us, immediately getting up.

Rising from their seats and shouting. "Good morning, sir."

Gojo leans down and whispers in my ear, "I wouldn't say big, I'm only known here and there." He winks, flashing a cocky smile.

I notice everyone bowing down, I quickly step out the elevator and bow as well. He notices this and pats me on the head.

"Now, now there's no need for that. I appreciate it but please everyone take a seat." Gojo states so the whole room hears. The nearest assistant, being me, led him to his seat. He thanks me as I rush off and take my seat next to my boss.

The meeting proceeds as I look through all the documents, following along as one of my co-workers debriefs and explains our plans. I turn and take a look at Gojo to try and see what he thinks. He seems to be following along quite intently before shifting his focus and making eye contact with me.

He raises his eyebrows and grins. I give a small smile back and look away, trying to focus on the papers in front of me.

As the presentation finishes, I notice him nodding his head. My boss looking very happy. "Alright, your presentation seemed stable. I was looking at a few stocks the other day and I believe this could go a long way if done right. If it's alright I'll be popping by, giving some insight since I plan to make a major investment." I looked around the room and everyone was nodding their heads.

"Not to mention, it seems like you have some trustworthy employees here." He says, flashing a smile at me.

"Of course. We always try to include our investors during these projects." My boss responds, beaming. I could tell he was even happier than usual which made me think just how important was Gojo? He must be a big shot in the investment world. But really?

The same Gojo who used to throw paper wads through a straw? The same Gojo who sang kids theme songs at the top of his lungs in class? But then again...no matter how it seemed he did care.

He was one of the top students and he still had time to act as a kid. One of the reasons I cared so much about him. One of the reasons I used to call him my best friend.

I feel someone nudge me. It's my boss. Crap I didn't notice everyone had already gotten up. I quickly do the same as we stand in line for Gojo to walk out. He walks halfway through before coming to a stop. He turns around and steps in front of me.

"If it's alright, I'd like to have a moment with your assistant here. I mean no harm, she was just helping me with something earlier and I wanted to thank her properly." He says with a smile, but something is different. He looks almost scary as he faces my boss.

"Of...of course sir. Everyone let's head out. Ms. Y/L/N please come to my office as soon as you're done here." I nod my head as he and everyone else leave. They close the doors and I start to wonder if I did anything wrong.

Before I can say anything I feel arms wrap around me. "It's been so long. How have you been?" Gojo says smiling as he pulls away and holds onto me by the shoulders.

I stand there, confused for a few seconds. I come to the realization he didn't come here to thank me, or tell me off. He just wanted to catch up. A small smile creeps onto my face as I look up at him and feel my small smile, grow.

"Gojo...oh my gosh. It really is you! It has been so long! We lost touch after high school. Who knew I would find you here? Where I work?" I smile as I rush through my words, surprised but excited. My old friend. He's really here.

"I know right? I mean it's such a coincidence we met at your workplace, of all places? It really has been so long. I've missed you so much." He says, whispering the last part.

"I've missed you too. I mean you were my best friend. How could I not after all this time?" I exclaim as I stare into those sapphire, jeweled eyes. That seems as if they can see everything going on.

"Yeah, best friends. It's truly been so long. We should catch up sometime. If you're okay with that, I mean if you want. It might be weird since I'm an investor and you're a worker. Or maybe it's not weird. I don't know, it's really your choice." He says quickly, I almost didn't catch everything he was saying.

I nod my head and laugh. "Yeah let's meet up sometime. Here's my number." I take out a sticky note and give it to him. I glance at my watch and notice we have been talking for a while. If we spend any longer, they probably wouldn't believe he was just thanking me.

"I have to go now. But just call or message, we can try to set something up. Don't worry if you can't, as a big investor I know you're probably busy. I'll see you later, I have to go meet with my boss now! Bye!" I wave goodbye and see him waving back. I exit through the doors.
