this officially marks the end of lover boy.

this book is ridiculously embarrassing to re-read for me as the author, but if this helped in the slightest way to brighten someone's day, I'll swallow the humiliation.

the whole idea of this book was very spontaneous. I wrote the idea in my pinterest notes, just to forget about it over the months. one day I came across it while feeling not the happiest, and decided to give it a go. I had no idea where my prompt decision would lead me to, but we're here! :') with 60k reads and so many beautiful friends.

I treasure everyone who believed in me when I didn't. All the readers who stuck with me till the end. Even the ones who left after a few chapters. I am deeply grateful for the time you gave to this little experiment of mine.

Maybe I'll continue more projects, with better plots. For now, this is where I take a short writing break. I'm moving out for uni, and I'm not very confident in making promises of regular updates for how to uncrush (the first chapter is up!).

Let's live for now, okay?

To the ones who need to hear this, you are deserving of living happily. Simply by existing you are deserving of comfort, safety and joy. You never need to earn these things. I hope Hyunjin's character made you realise this too. With time, you'll find your very own place.
