"Come on, man!" Greg exclaimed as he shook my shoulder "It's a party!" he added excitedly "With models, actresses and other famous people! Hot people!"

"Yeah, but it's Eleanor's party." I muttered softly as I shook my head "I can't see her, not while she's with her boyfriend." I added with a scowl "I just can't."

"Who says you can't start over with her?" Jacob said with a shrug "Just try and be friends with her for once." he added and I shook my head as I covered my face with my hands

"You can't just be friends with someone like her." I sighed "Not after what happened between us." I added "She hates me and I don't blame her. I'd just rather stay as far away from her as possible." I muttered "It's too hard seeing her with someone else."

"What about Dani?" he added "From what she told me, you two used to be best friends since you were like in diapers; why not try and start by her?" he shrugged "She clearly misses you and you miss her too."

"She hates me as well." I said and he shook his head

"She could never hate you." he said "She told me." he added and I looked at him in shock, my mouth slightly agape "She's just hurt." he said with a shrug and Greg nodded "They both are, for that matter."

"Come on, dude!" Greg said "It'll be fun." he said with a grin and I sighed deeply before nodding slightly

"Fine, I'll go!"

"Hey, you came!" Dani exclaimed as she approached us with a wide smile, she hugged Jake tightly as he kissed her cheek, she greeted Greg with a bright smile and then she turned to me and smiled slightly as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear

"We'll be at the bar." Jacob said as he grabbed Greg's arm and tugged him towards the bar, I turned to Dani and sighed deeply

"Hey." I whispered and she chuckled lightly

"Hey." she said back, there was another silence before she spoke again "I really did miss you, Luke." she whispered as she came closer to me and I smiled softly

"I missed you too, Dani." I said as I looked down at her and chuckled slightly "Do you hate me?" I whispered and she shook her head

"I hated you in that moment, but the moment's passed." she sighed "All we can do is try to move past it and do our best to go back to the way we were."

"Do you think it's posible?" I said and she shrugged

"It wouldn't hurt to try, right?" she sighed, I smiled softly before pulling her close and hugging her tightly

"I love you, Danielle Lewis." I murmured into her hair, I felt her chuckle slightly into my chest

"You better." she laughed "I love you too, Lucas Anderson." She whispered before we pulled apart, I smiled brightly at her, it felt great to have my best friend back, or that she was at least talking to me now "Come on, let's go sit down with everyone else." She said as she wrapped her arm around my forearm was we walked towards a table where I saw Dinah was sitting with her fiancé and the guys

"What's he doing here?" Dinah said with a small scowl in my direction, I gulped since that girl had gotten even scarier since high school "Dani?"

"He's cool." She said as she smiled up at me "We're cool." Dinah pointed her finger at me with a small scowl

"This doesn't mean we're cool; you broke two of my best friends hearts and only one of them has forgiven you." She stated and I nodded softly

"I'm working on that." I said with a sigh and she scoffed with a laugh
