Amanda's POV
Breathing in the London air was like coming home. James was walking right next to me and we were holding hands. Walking down Regent street during the winter was something I remembered doing since I was really young. I loved living in the city, and visiting it after spending the last couple of months totally closed of from the world was refreshing.
"Do you want to go and eat first, or should we shop a little first? No, wait! We're totally shopping", I determined. My parents had sent me money as a Christmas gift. Instead of feeling bitter about I had decided to just spend every last penny of it on clothes and such.
"Sure, we'll do whatever you want", James agreed which made me smiling. I could have used does words to make him do a lot of things, but I was a good girlfriend and therefor I wouldn't do anything.

"This dress or the one before?", I asked James as I posed in a black, long sleeved dress. James was sitting outside the chaining rooms with a puppy dog look on his face. I could easily tell that he wasn't used to shopping with a muggle girl. From what I had seen, wizards did not care about muggle brands or fashion trends.
"They both look the same", James pointed out. I was actually just messing with him. The dress I was wearing and the one from before were the same dress, just in different sizes. I hadn't told James that though.
"They are kind of alike. I like this one a bit more, it fits better", I told him. I twirled different ways to see how I looked from different angles.
"Then you should totally take it", he assured. A smile spread across my lips. I was being really mean, I knew that. I ran up to him and kissed him. It was a sort of a "thank you for not freaking out while shopping with me".
"You're really the best boyfriend", I told him before giving him a small peck and then running back into the fitting rooms. I started to undress while thinking about the restaurant we would visit.
"I know!", James called from outside the fitting rooms. I couldn't help but laugh and shake my head. My heart really swelled with emotion when we had moments like that.

James and I were sitting by the table, waiting for our food to arrive. We were in a restaurant in Soho that had really amazing food. I loved going there with friends, but it was actually the first time that I was there with a boyfriend. It was obviously the first time James was there too.
"I really like this drink, what's it called?", James asked with a frown, holding up his glass. I had ordered our food and our drinks because I kind of wanted to surprise James with the amazingness.
"It's called an MGM. I usually drink it when I come here", I explained and took a sip from my glass. The familiar taste filled my mouth, until it went down in my throat in bubbles.
The people around us didn't seem to think anything special about us. We were just a normal couple. I liked that. I liked the feeling of being a normal human being. It was a change after feeling different for the last couple of months. Everybody wanted to be different, until it actually happened. I had at least wanted to at least have some excitement in my life. Maybe I got a little bit more then I had asked for.
