James' POV

Her dark brown hair looked perfect, as did her sparkling eyes in the same colour.

"Do you go to Hogwarts?" I was pretty sure of what her answer would be. Had she gone to Hogwarts I would of noticed her already. It was hard not to, she was beautiful.

"Um, no", she answered and sounded uncertain. I cocked my head to the side and studied her.

"I thought every British witch or wizard attended Hogwarts", I said which seemed to make her a bit nervous. I wondered why.

"Well... Um... I... I don't", she stuttered and it confused me to why she was nervous.

"Do you go to Beauxbatons?", I asked her calmly. Suddenly she seemed to calm down from her nerves and she smiled at me once again. Maybe she was just a bit nervous because she was talking to me. It wouldn't have been the first time.

Amanda's POV

I realized that I needed to calm down if I didn't want to look suspicious. I smiled at James and tried to come up with a good lie. An idea came to mind, and I hoped that James didn't watch TV.

"I go to a very small school in America. It's called Miss Robichaux's Academy", I told him and almost wanted to laugh at myself. I would have never thought that I would lie about going to a fictional school, especially the one in American Horror Story. Luckily, James didn't look like he knew that it was from a TV-show.

"I've never heard of it. I guess I don't know the name of any American schools", James said and grinned sheepishly at me.

"Then I can't imagine that you would know anything about Robichaux. I mean, there's only about twenty students that go there and we have like three teachers", I lied smoothly. James didn't seem to suspect a thing, which made it much easier to come up with lies. Not that lying was good, but I had to.

"Cool. Should we go find our seats. I think the game starts soon", James said and I nodded. He started to lead the way and I followed him. We climbed the stairs while chatting a bit. I then suddenly stopped.

"I don't think we have seats next to each other", I said which made James frown.

"You can come sit with me. My family's in the VIP box", James told me but I immediately shook my head. Meeting one wizard was okay. I could of fooled him into thinking I was magical like him. Fooling grown ups and his whole family would be impossible.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go and meet up with a friend", I quickly lied while looking apologetic. James seemed to accept my answer and we parted ways. I happily went and found my seat. I couldn't be more excited. I was finally going to see a real Quidditch game.

•••

"It was amazing! I can't even describe it! They were flying so smoothly and it was better than I imagined", I told Gwen and Rose excitedly after I met up with them. We were standing away from the crowds while we spoke. Apparently most people were happy with Bulgaria winning the game. Many were celebrating by their tents. Gwen, Rose and I wanted to join them but I wanted to talk to them in private first.

"I wish I could of seen it", sighed Rose while Gwen agreed. I had never imagined seeing such an amazing sport. I had loved it.

"Amanda!", I heard a voice call. When I turned around I saw James running up to us.

"Who's he?", whispered Rose before James arrived.

"Someone I met inside", I whispered back. James was almost there.

"He's cute", whispered Gwen, just before James arrived. He smiled at me, and I noticed how he had a scarf around his neck with the Bulgarian colours on.

"Hi, James", I greeted with a smile. Rose nudged me in the ribbs which made me turn slightly towards her.

"This is my friends, Rose and Gwen", I told James. He greeted them before once again turning to me.

"Wasn't the game amazing?! Did you know that my father knows Victor Krum? I actually got to meet him earlier. Isn't he amazing?!", James spoke with a happy grin on his face. Thankfully I had overheard the people next to me mention Victor Krum during the game. He was the Bulgarian seeker.

"You really got meet him? He's such an amazing seeker. He was so good, I couldn't believe it", I told James with my own grin.

Suddenly a boy ran up to us. He looked younger, but only with a few years.

"James! Dad wants you to come back to camp", the boy said. James frowned at him and his eyes spoke of true irritation. I couldn't help but see the resemblance in the two. My guess was that they were brothers.

"Not now, Albus. Tell dad that I'm on my way." Albus looked from James to me. A smile spread on his lips before he stuck out his hand.

"I'm Albus Potter, James' brother", the boy introduced himself and I could see that it annoyed James. Apparently he didn't want his brother to stay.

"Amanda Fraser. Nice to meet you", I said with a smile and shook the younger Potter's hand. Albus smiled at his brother, almost mischievously.

"I didn't know you knew an Amanda", Albus said with a teasing voice. I looked at Gwen and Rose, who both smiled at the two brothers.

"It's okay if you have to go. We were just about to join the celebration", I told James kindly and before he could reply I had dragged my two friends towards the tents.

"He likes you, Amanda!", said Gwen with a big smile. I rolled my eyes at her.

"We only met briefly", I explained but neither Gwen nor Rose thought that it was important.

"Well, he likes you anyway. He was so mad at his brother for interrupting you", Rose laughed and I couldn't help but laugh with her.

"Whatever. Should we join the party?", I asked my two friends. They both grinned and without an answer we walked into the crowd of cheering witches and wizards.

I don't know what it was called, but I knew that it was alkohol that we were drinking. Everyone was dancing to a tune I did not recognize, but that didn't matter. I danced with them. Rose and Gwen were also having fun, socializing.

When I started to feel a bit tired of dancing I walked out of the crowd. I walked away to get some air. That was when I noticed a blonde boy in Albus age. He was standing near a tent looking miserable. The boy had light blonde hair, straight and with a fringe that covered a bit of his left eye. At first I was unsure if I should talk to him, but I quickly decided that I should be nice and ask him what's wrong.

"Hi", I said as I walked up to him. He looked up and met my gaze with grey eyes. He watched me with an unsure expression bit I tried to smile kindly at him. It didn't seem to calm him.

"Do I know you?", he asked and I could see how he tried to hide his sadness.

"No, but I saw you looking miserable and thought that you needed someone to talk to", I said kindly. He looked unsure, as if he didn't know if he should trust me. I touched his arm softly.

"It can sometimes be good to tell your problems to people who don't know you. They can't judge you, and will probably give you the best advice", I said and that seemed to finally win him over. Once again I saw his face show sadness. I sat down on the ground and gestured for him to do the same. After minor hesitation he did.

"Can I at least know your name before I tell you anything?", he asked.

"It's Amanda", I told him. He smiled sadly at me before speaking himself.

"I'm Scorpius", he said as if he expected me to run away as soon as I heard his name. I didn't. Instead I stayed and gave him a reassuring smile.

"What's wrong, Scorpius?"
