13. She Needs Prayer

After leaving Ashlyn's office, I found Antonio and told him I was ready to go. After getting directions from him to his place, I was on my way. "So when were you plan on telling me that Ashlyn set us up?" He looked over at me surprised.

"She told me" I said. He sighed. "Emerald I like you, I really do. Ashlyn told me that she had a friend that was in need of some male company, and she told me that I was perfect for the job so I agreed"

"So I was just a job?" I asked. "No, that's what I'm trying to tell you. I actually like you. At first it was a job, until I started to get to know you" I pulled up to his house, which wasn't that far from the church now that I actually thought about it.

"Well whatever I thought we had, is now over. It was nice knowing you Antonio" I said. He sighed and get out the car. "You too beautiful" he said and closed the door. I pulled off and drove home in thought.

Meanwhile David was talking to one of the elderly members of the church when he got a text from Emerald.

Emerald:
We need to talk, ASAP. Come to my house.

David wondered what was so urgent. He looked around and spotted Ashlyn. He thought about telling her he had to leave but figured she would ask too many questions. David snuck off to his car, driving to her house.

When he got there, she was in the kitchen drinking a glass of wine. "What's wrong baby? Did Antonio do something to you?!" Emerald laughed. "David, Antonio is the least of our problems. You might want to sit down"

David looked over at her. "Our?" She nodded. "Yes our. Your wife knows about us" I felt the world around me, slow down. "What? How?"

She started to tell me about how Ashlyn called her in to talk to her and how she even went as far as setting Emerald and Antonio up. David was in shock, total shock. "Here David, drink this" Emerald gave him her glass of wine and he took a sip.

He couldn't believe Ashlyn would go that far. "She was right about one thing. I am in love with you" he admitted looking over at her. "David-"

"Just hear me out" she nodded reluctantly. "I've never felt this way about someone, not even Ashlyn. I couldn't stand to see you with that other guy"

"David I just told you that your wife knows about our affair"

"I don't care. I'm willing to fight for you" Emerald wiped her tears. Was she really willing to give her all to someone? "Why me David? Why are you willing to go through all of this for me?"

"What do you mean? Emerald I just told you I loved you. Why wouldn't I? You're so beautiful and independent. We're perfect for one another, can't you see that?" Emerald looked up at David, nodding her head slowly. "I love you too David" she said.

He leaned in and kissed her. "You need to hurry and get back to her. I don't want you getting in any more trouble than you already are" David laughed. "Baby I'm a grown ass man. I don't care about Ashlyn being mad" Emerald just sighed. "So what are going to do about this whole baby thing?"

"The only baby you're having is ours. Ashlyn acts like she's tough, don't let that fool you or scare you" She laughed. "David, she doesn't scare me not one bit. I just didn't want her to try to ruin you. She's sneaky and scandalous"

"That's sweet that you tried to look out for me. But I'll come up with something" I nodded my head. "So anyways, did you give away what's mines?" Emerald laughed. "Is that all you're worried about?" David shook his head. "No but it's very important to me. So tell me"

"No, I thought about it. That day you came to my office, leaving me like that. I thought about letting Antonio help me finish" I looked over at David, seeing an irritated look pass his face. "Good thing you didn't" he said picking me up putting me on the kitchen counter. "Because I do it way better"

I smirked. "Yes you do Daddy" I leaned down and kissed him. I had already taken my clothes off and changed into a shirt and some shorts before he came. I felt him pulling my shorts down. David unzipped his pants, pulling his very large erection out. He rubbed the head of it up and down my wet slit, coating himself in my juices.

I gasped as he entered me slowly. "Shit" he groaned. Emerald laid back and David continued to fill her. "Fuck, mhm, I love you David" she moaned out as he started to rub her clit slowly while giving her slow strokes.

Emerald tried to focus her mind on their love making but her mind kept flashing back to Ashlyn. Before David, she had never had these types of problems. This was her first "real relationship". Even if it wasn't her man.

David sensed something off during them having sex. He suddenly stopped. "What's wrong baby?" She just shook her head. All of a sudden, memories of her past came flooding back to her mind. "Stop! Stop! Stop!" she yelled. David got off of her, and tried to stop her from yelling. "Baby it's ok, it's only me. Baby? Baby?"

Emerald opened her tear filled eyes. "I'm so sorry David" David was in shock, seeing his strong, independent woman so weak. "It's ok. Tell me what's wrong. Did I do something?" She just shook her head.

They slowly put their clothes back on. After hoping off the counter, she pulled David to the couch. "David there's a lot of things you don't know about me" David gave her a look. "You weren't born a man, were you?" Emerald laughed and hit him. "No fool! I'm trying to be serious"

David nodded. "I'm sorry. Ok, tell me"

"When I was younger, my mom was on drugs. I never knew my father. She would have all these men coming in and out of the house, and sometimes those men would abuse me, in all types of ways" David grabbed my hand kissing it, wiping my tears as they fell. "My mom would never believe me, and one day I went to visit my grandmother, and she saw the bruises and immediately took me from my mother. She disappeared for a while, until I turned 19. She never went to rehab, and we still don't get along until this day. I've never given my all to a man before David, and I can't lie and say it doesn't scare me"

David nodded his head in understanding. "Emerald I love you. I know our situation is messed up but I would never do anything to hurt you again. Nor will I let anybody hurt you. You have to somehow someway find it in your heart to trust me" Emerald nodded. "You don't know how it feels to get that off my chest" David smiled.

"I'm glad you trust me enough to share that with me" she just smiled. "I'm divorcing Ashlyn baby. As soon as possible. We're going to be together"

"But David what about the church? What about your family?"

David laughed. "The church situation will work itself out, and they never liked Ashlyn anyways" I laughed. David rubbed my stomach. "I can't wait until you have our babies"

"How many kids do you want David?"

"A lot" I laughed. "I don't know who's supposed to have all these kids you speak of" He just shook his head. "I'm so glad I met you David"

"I'm glad I met you too ba-" he got cut off by the doorbell ringing. I got up to answer it, looking through the peephole. Low and behold, there stood the devil herself. I opened it. "What do you want?"

She laughed. "You are such a slut. I thought I told you to stay away from my husband" David came walking up. She looked him up and down. "Ashlyn why are you threatening her?" Ashlyn gasped. "So you're taking up for the bitch now?"

"You got one more time to call me out of my name"

"Or what bitch" Ashlyn saw the look I gave her and immediately regretted what she said. She flinched when I finally spoke, closing her eyes and shielding her face. "You know what, I'm not gonna even hit you, I'm just gonna pray for you. You need it"

David handed her the keys to his car. "You can go home now. I'll be there in a minute" I slammed the door in her face. David and I laughed hearing her storm off.
