CHAPTER-13

SHYLA

Surrounded by the vast sea, standing on the cliff of the mountain, the Uluwatu Temple shined as bright as possible in front of us. The peaceful environment with the calm sound of the sea waves felt like beautiful music to my ears. Everything seems so perfect about the environment that there is no way I want to leave this place. Tourists from around the world are clicking pictures and the smiles of everyone reflected the happiness, the excitement of exploring this place.

I turned around to see Evan busy on his phone with no sign of excitement visible on his face. This person is hell confusing. One moment, he smiles and talks like the sweetest person in this whole damn planet while the other moment he acts like he doesn't even care about anyone's existence.

My thoughts are interrupted by some voices a little ahead of me. I looked back again at Evan, my mind deciding if I should tell him to get the hell out of his phone and to move ahead or I should just mind my own business. Finally I shook my head and moved ahead as I don't want to be so desperate.

"Don't widen your eyes so much. Or else it's gonna pop out and I'mma throw those on the sea." Linda said with a proud smirk on his face. I heard Ave's little chuckle beside me.

Ryan's impressed and widened eyes which were looking at the whole place turned towards Linda in an instant.

"Huh? Oh how dumb of you to think that I am impressed with this place. There are those asian girls standing and clicking pictures. And guess what they are hot! I am impressed by them." Ryan said and did something with his hair to look cool somehow.

Although his face indicated complete lie. He was hell impressed by the place and is not accepting it. Male ego obviously. This shit irritates me the most.

"Shut your nonsense. And if you are so impressed by your Asian girls then go and have a nice talk with them. Atleast the cost of one ticket price will be deducted. My money will be saved." Linda said and snatched the camera from his hand.

"Let's go guys." Linda said as she walked ahead.

"Stop! You can't freaking snatch my camera." Ryan said as he run towards Linda following her.

"Cute." My lips smiled so hard to see their adorable fights.

"Ew!" Ave said as she followed both of them.

I turned around and bumped hard into someone. My whole body stiffed to think that I am going to fall down now and embarass myself infront of thousands of tourists. Until two hands wrapped my waist. My closed eyes opened to see Evan Kavinsky standing infront of me holding me in his arms. His brown eyes shining like stars. The stars I want to look at forever. The perfect design of his face insisted me to look at him and to never let go of this moment.

"How cute they are!" I heard the voices of some teenage girls walking past us giving us looks of adorement.

My hands which were on either side of his shoulders let go of him as I postured myself straight.

The feeling of warmth and comfort left me as he took his hands away from me.

"I thought I was gonna fall and really embarass myself today but thanks to you!" I said as a chuckle left from my mouth.

"Looks like I did a great deed today." He said as his lips curved into a little smile.

"You will do an even greater deed if you just move inside the temple. Let's not waste our time here." I said as I turned and run towards the temple as the footsteps behind me followed me in.

"You can't even click a nice picture from my latest model camera, tomato." Ryan said irritatingly.
