Standing near the pool side in the drinks counter my eyes were fixed on the beautiful view in front of me. The blonde haired girl who was right in front of me enjoying her floating breakfast with two of her friends. Her eyes sparkling with happiness while her hairs were flying across her face by the slow wind which made everything in my sight lose its charm. Everything felt black and white and she was the only person who appeared golden to me.
"Over with your staring Kavinsky?" Ryan who was standing just beside me asked me while sipping his Kuwut Ice- basically a very famous Bali drink.
I rolled my eyes on him.
"I can't believe you made me leave my room for some woman whose name is unknown to you" he said with absolute irritation.
"Shyla Gilbert, a fashion designing student, currently studying in the FITs, gonna complete her 3rd year course by the end of the year." I replied and he choked on his drink.
"Jesus! How the hell did you get all these informations in one day Kavinsky?" He asked with his extremely wide eyes.
"I have my ways" I said while sipping my drink.
"Jeez! You sound like a creep right now, you know that right?" He said while making a disgusted face.
And continued drinking his juice.
"Fuck- No freaking way!" He screamed and choked on his drink again.
"The hell is wrong with you Baldwin?" I asked him who looked not so impressed by the sight infront of him.
"That crazy tomato like girl- she is Shala's friend?" He asked with complete irritation all over his face.
"The fuck is Shala? It is Shyla" I replied him and he gave me an expression less face.
"Ok so it would be better if you just stop teaching me names right now and focus on the actual problem. That tomato women! What was her name she said? Yess Linda! That Linda is Shala's friend? Like out of everyone in this whole world, Evan Kavinsky has to get obsessed over a woman whose friend is this tomato like woman?" He asked me with annoyance.
"Well that sounds like a you problem" I said unbothered by his stupid self.
SHYLA
"This feels unreal, are we really floating in the pool while eating our breakfast?" I said with my voice which couldn't hide the excitement I am feeling right now.
"Surely one of the top most reason to visit Bali was to experience this" Ave said while closing her eyes and inhaling the smell of fresh air.
I smiled and enjoyed the moment.
"SHYLA! AVE! That's the guy Ryan, about whom I was telling you guys the other night. The guy who broke into the ladies toilet and the one who treated me with that expensive wine" Linda whispered and pointed towards the drinks counter.
My eyes fell on the men standing there at the counter.
"Which one Linda? There are 3 men standing over there." Ave said with her eyes scanning the whole counter.
"That one with a blue t-shirt and white jeans." Linda said while secretly pointing towards the person.
My eyes finally fell on the figure about whom Linda was talking about. He was a tall man with broad shoulders and blue eyes, gorgeous would be the right word to use for him. He was talking to a person who was standing right next to him with his back turned towards us. Basically a lot taller than the blue t-shirt guy.
"Yes Linda I saw him. Damn- he looks like he came straight out of a Taylor Swift's song." I said with my heart eyes.
"He looks like he came out of some garbage dump" Linda said and slapped my arm hard enough to bring me back to reality.
We three laughed hard but it didn't last long when that Ryan guy caught us looking at him like creeps.The three of us instantly jerked our body towards the opposite direction regretting our freaking existence.
"I just don't know you both from now on. I am cancelling you both from my friend list. You guys just never let down a chance to embarrass me" Ave said almost questioning her existence in this world due to the embarrassment.
"Well woman, for your kind information you were laughing like a maniac too by looking at them" Linda said and rolled her eyes.
"Exactly!" I said being completely in favour of Linda this time.
"Hey ladies! Mind turning around?" Our hearts stopped and we exchanged each other our frightened looks when an unknown male voice came from behind us.
We turned around to find a waiter holding a plate full of drinks.
"May I know what drink I should serve you?" He asked with a pleasant smile.
We sighed in relief when we realised that it was just the waiter.
"The mango one will be fine for us" I said knowing damn well about our love for mangoes.
"Sure madam!" He served us three glasses and made his way to the drinks counter again.
When my eyes fell at the drinks counter again, the 2 fellows were gone. Thankfully.
After a long satisfying breakfast finally here we are in our room getting ready for our favourite part- shopping. The only thing common about the three of us is that we love shopping. Nothing in this world can compare the love we have for shopping.
"Guys guess what? I got the tickets for one of the most famous Bali party clubs. It even consists of a pool party. You guys have to come with me and for God sake I don't wanna hear any denial!" Linda told us as she very well knows that me and Ave would never agree for a club party.
"Linda, you know I hate those club parties! It makes me want to puke when I see those boys and girls eating up each other's faces and making out." I said with a disgusted face.
"Yes and you know there are so many perverts and thieves roaming around there. Anything can happen to us if they mix something in our drinks." Ave said being concerned.
"Here she goes again! Ave, I told you to stop watching those crime documentaries. One day those series will make you suspicious of the whole human existence too." Linda said being completely irritated.
Ave rolled her eyes.
"Guys common! For me please? It's our first time in Bali and I want you both to experience every best thing available here. It's one of the best club parties in Bali and I really wanna go there. I don't have anyone else here and I just want to go with you both. Please? Linda said with her puppy eyes.
"Here started the emotional blackmailing" Ave said being annoyed.
"Okay fine! we will go with you Linda!" I said to not ruin Linda's mood this time during the vacation.
"UGH- fine fine!" Ave replied.
"Yes yes I love you both so much" she came running towards us and kissed our cheeks.
"Gosh ew!" Me and Ave said together wiping off her kisses.
"Whatever! WE ARE GOING TO THE CLUB!!" Linda screamed excitedly.
