"Do you trust him?"
Sitting in front of me in my office Des, the business analyzer of my company was sipping his tea while talking about something which I consider nothing but a misconception. My eyes looked up at him from my laptop as I shut it down.
"What do you want to say, Des?" I asked him seriously as he put down the cup of coffee on the table and leaned forward while putting his arms on the table.
"No matter how much you trust him, he is still a crime detective. And not just a normal detective, he is private detective who works secretly and catches the accused and does God knows what with them."
He said as I narrowed my eyebrows a bit and kept looking at him. He took a deep breath and opened up his mouth to continue.
"He never does a thing which doesn't bring him good."
He said as I let out a heavy sigh.
"Of course. I am paying him for his help."
I replied as I leaned back in my chair while looking up at the ceiling.
"Think about it, Kavinsky. Jacob Roy is sitting in his office peacefully even when you can easily go and kill him right there. But it was Marcus Wilson who stopped you to do so and God knows why. I don't know what his plan is but all I know is that never make the same mistake of trusting any one blindly only to get betrayed by them in the end."
A moment of silence surrounded us as I couldn't think of any answer. I heard him getting up from his seat as he looked at me for a moment before walking out silently. I closed my eyes as my mind went into deep thoughts.
I got to know about Marcus Wilson almost two years ago. And all I could think at that time was how appropriate his work and methods looked to catch Jacob Roy. That's the reason I contacted him for helping me out.
Besides all the rumours that I've heard about him, there was this time I genuinely thought that this man can be trusted. I have always been the person who never tries to be friendly with someone only to get betrayed by them in the end which I have already faced in the past. But something about Marcus Wilson convinced me somehow that he could be trusted. Not only he tried to help me out but for a person like me who doesn't have much friends except Ryan and Des whom I know from University, Marcus Wilson somehow added up to the list. He became a great friend of mine over the years.
Since then, never once this thought came into my mind that I should doubt him. Until today, when Des talked about something which is not ready to get out of my mind.
Can Marcus Wilson really be trusted?

LINDATapping my feet continuously in the floor, my head was spinning around with the thoughts that were eating me up from almost fifteen minutes.
Why would she have called me here?
What does she want from me?
Sitting inside a lavish restaurant of New York City, I was having a good war of thoughts inside my head as an unexpected person called me today morning and told me to meet up with her.
My racing thoughts finally came into rest, as I saw the figure walking towards me with a black lube top and denim jeans with matching heels. Her face held some kind of worry which was quite unusual as she came and sat across me in the chair while keeping her expensive Louis Vuitton bag in the table. She leaned forward while resting her hands on the table.
