CHAPTER-25

JACOB

"He loves to steal what I want. And he exactly knows about the person whom I want after so many years. That's the reason he is doing all these acts with her." I said to the other person who sat in front of me putting his legs on the table like he owned the place.

"What if he actually loves her and she loves him too?" He asked while gulping down a shot.

A chuckle left my mouth instantly after hearing his words.

"And do you think she will be able to love him anymore after I reveal myself to her? He is just making a fool out of himself. Shyla Gilbert loves me more than he could ever imagine. It will not take her a second to leave the person whom she just met in a trashy vacation to get back with the person who was there with her for almost four years." I said as I took a sip of the wine kept infront of me.

"And when will you reveal yourself to her?" He asked the question as it took me few minutes to think of a proper answer.

"Not now. Let him be so terribly closer to Shyla that she becomes his greatest weakness. And right then, I'll make sure to get back to Shyla and watch Evan Kavinsky being defeated in his own game that he started years ago." I said and smirked thinking about the day I will see Evan Kavinsky being completely defeated infront of me. He is too clever. He has already taken a man of mine into his trap with the help of a very powerful person. And all I want is now to know that which bastard is helping him to do all these things.

The end is near, Bloody Kavinsky.

SHYLA

The morning alarm ringed as my eyes opened instantly after hearing it. I stretched my arms as the morning felt peaceful than ever. A smile formed in my lips as I remembered last night. Not even in my wildest dreams I've ever imagined kissing Evan Kavinsky. I've become so comfortable in his presence that the kiss we shared last night wasn't a bit awkward. It felt so natural. Even the thought of it is enough to make the butterflies in my stomach dance joyfully.

Tomorrow is the last day of our vacation and we will be returning to NYC. I am more than happy to finally return back to the dorm and getting back at the designing course but somewhere inside me I am so upset to think that Evan will be far now. I won't be able to see him everyday just like I do now. My eyes fell on Linda and Ave who were comfortably sleeping on either side of me in the bed even though two beds are kept unoccupied since the day we entered into this room. Due to my nightmares, they never let me sleep alone in the bed. I smiled seeing them. A thing I know for sure is that each one in this planet can abandon me but these two girls are going to stick by my side for an eternity. All these days which I've spent with Linda, Avelin, Evan and Ryan are going to become just memories now. Happy memories.

I got out from the washroom as I saw Linda and Ave sitting in the bed, still with the sleepy faces and hardly opened eyes.

"The water is really cold guys. Make sure to turn on the geyser before bathing." I said as I made my way towards the cupboard in a bathrobe to pick out one of my dresses.

"Where were you yesterday night? We came here with the dinner but you were not in the room?" I heard Ave's voice from behind as my eyes widened to remember that I still haven't
told Ave and Linda about me and Evan. They still have no idea about the one eighty degree turn that took place in Evan's and mine relationship. I decided to keep it a secret now because we still haven't cleared our feelings and properly started dating yet. If we do so ahead then the first two persons to know about our relationship would obviously be Ave and Linda. But for now, it is better to not get killed by Avelin in a vacation.
