CHAPTER-6

Utterly shocked by the manager's statement, me and Ave were standing with our mouths wide open.

"What do you mean we are getting a first class room? We booked another one what happened to that?" Ave asked with her sharp tone.

"We got some problems in that room madam. So we are offering you a first class room which is a lot more suitable to live in with a beautiful beach view. And is available right now" the manager replied with a pleasing smile.

"It's not about the better rooms, it's about our spending. We have already paid you for our previous room and we are not going to pay an extra amount to live in a first class room right now so it would be better if we just cancel our stay in this resort. You guys have already tested our patience enough" I said irritated by the manager's statements.

"No madam! You don't have to pay an extra amount for the room again. We are offering you to stay in the first class room without any extra payment." The manager replied making me and Ave suspicious of his behaviour.

"Give us a minute" Ave said and  dragged me to a corner.

"What is the matter with this man? Is he gone mad or something? Why the hell is he offering us to stay in the most highly rated rooms without any extra payment?" She whispered into my ear.

"That's what I am exactly thinking. Should we agree?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"No duh! Something is seriously suspicious" Ave replied.

"I got the keys guys. Let's go!" Linda appeared out of nowhere and started  carrying her luggage.

"WHAT KEYS?" me and Ave screamed at her making her drop the luggage by flinching at our loud voice.

"The manager finally got the key so I brought it. What's with that screaming ladies?" she asked while keeping her hands on her waist.

"Linda we were not supposed to take that
key!" Ave's irritated voice came out.

"BUT WHY?" Linda asked being completely confused about the situation.

Finally after explaining her the whole situation, she sat down in the nearest bench resting her face in her hands. She gave us a judging look.

"Are you guys for real? The manager is literally offering us to stay in the first class rooms with the earlier payment of the ground floor rooms and you guys were going to deny his offer?" She asked while raising her eyebrows.

"Of course! It's strange that he was offering us to stay in the highly furnished and beautifully decorated first class rooms without any extra payment. Its so suspicious"
Ave replied to her.

Linda started laughing hard.

"What is he gonna do with us? Kidnap us? Kill us? Common now guys take it in a positive way. We guys were irritated for waiting for the key of our room and were insisting to cancel our stay. It is a highly wanted resort in Bali. Our bad reviews would have caused him and his resort a great loss. That must be the reason he is offering us to stay in the upper floor rooms. And Ave stop your prosecutor mind now. We are not inside some of your crime documentaries movie right now. Let's enjoy our vacation guys now that we are getting a chance to live in the most beautiful rooms with such a pretty view." Linda exclaimed in happiness.

Me and Ave looked at each other and eventually agreed to not let our vacation mood down.

As we moved into the room, our eyes sparkled with surprise after seeing the interior of the rooms. The room was furnished with the finest furniture and there was a big bed which looked so soft and comfortable that Ave jumped on it as soon as she saw it.

"Damn after all these stupid stuffs, I needed this" I smiled by seeing the cheeky smile and relaxment on her face.

"Well someone outside was refusing to stay here" Linda mocked Ave.

"Shut up Linda!" Ave threw a pillow on her and already a pillow war started between them. I laughed hard by already seeing their vacation mood.

I went to the balcony to get some fresh air. Now all I could see was the pretty view of beach and nature. Everything seemed so perfect. So beautiful.

THIS! This was all I needed. A nice vacation with my dearest friends to a perfect destination. Life feels so much better now.
