If my past had a face

If my past had a face it wouldn't look like just one person,
It wouldn't be just faces but it would also be places,
The faces I'd see would be all familiar to me,
The places would be uniquely terrifying and full of darkness.
If my past had a face it would look like my deepest fears,
It's features would feel like pure pain,
The texture of its face would be as hard as stone,
But the smile that appears on that face would be as transparent as my soul.
it doesn't mean that it would have a voice,
It wouldn't be able to describe its pain unless you read the expressions that it gives,
The face would in fact have eyes and they would be mesmerizing if you look into them for too long you would get lost.
If my past had a face would it truly be able to feel,
Behind those eyes i can feel the pain and despair the temptations and fears,
The age of the face would be old for the trauma and pain that I have endured so long ago.
Then that would mean it would have a brain somewhere to store all that pain,
Sometimes the memories would hit their Brain like a tidal wave,
It would come crashing down as hard as it could. The flashes of the past would come in and out like a wave on the shore.
The memory's come with the rest,
The good the bad present the past the first the last and the visions that have yet to come.
