When you died it's like part of me died too,
You were the best person to enter my life from the time my eyes opened till the time your heartbeat for the last time,
I felt empty and broken when you took your last breath,
I didn't know how I would survive without you by my side,
My heart has been shattered more than a million times,
Since you and I said our final goodbyes,
I used to walk this earth asking why you were taken from my life,
But I know that it was your time,
Sometimes at night I look up in the night sky and see stars all around,
Wondering which star you are,
But once I see it I know when I see the north star it is you telling me your home,
I believe the pain of your leave will always hurt,
But over time it will be alright,
One thing I have come to realize is you will always be by my side,
In my heart and my soul, I know that If I am being honest,
I am your eternal home...
