The world may never know

I don't know why but I am sitting here with you on my mind,

I miss you and I can't help but wonder if everything is alright,

Do you miss me?

No? Didn't think so I wouldn't miss me too,

In the eyes of the world, I am a nobody who can be erased without a trace,

But to you in the past, I was all that you would ever want and ask for,

I know I'm not no more and that's ok I don't understand where your love went,

Did it go out the door?

Or did it become a memory when he came through your door,

I don't know where your feelings start nor where they end,

But if I am being honest I don't want them to have an end,

I want them to be ever-lasting like mine but I know that is a lot to ask of you,

It's ok I will watch you two from afar,

Wishing it was me, not him,

Wishing our time didn't run out and there was more for us than there was before,

My heart will forever ache for you do you feel it too,

Or is it just me I guess the world may never know.....
