Today the eclipse happened and all I could think about is what it would have been like if you were watching it with me,
From different locations, we sit and stare at the same sun,
Watching,
Waiting,
For the moon to cover the sun,
Wondering if you were staring to watching the sky too,
Watching the sky turn a dark blue,
feeling the air turn cold,
I wish your arms were around me keeping me warm,
The eclipse was amazing it only happens once every 40 years so I wish I could see it with you,
But as I sat and watched so were you,
The memories that were made would last a lifetime,
You told me it was the most beautiful thing you have ever seen and in my eyes the most beautiful thing I've seen was you.
