Chapter 33

A/N: So sorry for the long wait on this story. I'm having a little writer's block, but I'm getting over it so the updates will be slow on this one. Thank you to those of you who are still reading this story it means a lot to me. Now on with the story.

Chapter 33

Jen's POV

Two days went by and now it was the day that I have been dreading. Of course, it was Monday. A day I have classes. Tommy and Mai were quiet all morning and in our English class we were just working in our workbooks in a group, and they kept looking at me. I gave up and said, "What is your problem?"

They sighed and Tommy glanced at the professor and at the group next to us who are a bvb fans. Then he looked at me and said, "So what are you going to do about Ash?"

I sighed and glanced at the bvb fans and made sure they weren't listening and said, "I'm not sure. He did come back after he walked out of my room. But just thinking about saying yes to him tonight is something I'm not sure about. I've never been with anyone like this before."

Mai looked at me and said, "I thought you and Andy were-"

I shook my head and said, "No. I was confused and lost, and he just broke up with Juliet and nothing happen between us. So, it doesn't count. Tommy is it normal to be this scared?"

I heard him sigh because I just worked on what we were assigned to work on and just kept my eyes down low on the workbook.

"Jen, I think your scared because of that shit that happened to you. You never had anyone to talk to besides me and my sisters. Every time you tried to talk to someone else it just got worse. You never cut, but you always had the thoughts. I think you just need to take things one step at a time. What are you going to tell Ash if you say yes?" Said Tommy.

I sighed and put my head on the table and said, "I know, that's what I want. I think Ash and I are going to have a long talk. I know his type and how he can be. I don't want to ruin him or anything."

Mai said, "Take it slow and give him a chance. One of my ex-friends were raped by her best friends' brother. She thought the same thing as you. It took her years to get over it. When she was 26, she found a wonderful guy and they had their ups and downs and they married and now that ex is my sister-in-law. But I do think you should try and date Ash. I know he's a base player, a player, and yet he also cares for people. We're all human and we all make mistakes and Ash is human as well as any of us. I know you find it hard to trust people and have a hard time dealing with what happened. Yet the only way to move on is to try new things."

I knew that Mai was right. I sighed again and glanced at the clock and knew that this was the last class of the day and when I get home, he would be their waiting for me. I sighed and said, "I'll be right back."

I got up and told the professor that I needed to use the restroom. I walked out of the classroom and into the bathroom and pulled my phone out and called Jer. He picked up right away.

"Jen what's wrong?" Jer asked me.

"Nothing. I was wondering if you, Cassie, Tommy and Mai could leave the house tonight so that Ash and I can talk. If that's okay?" I asked.

"Of course, it is. I knew you wanted to talk to him alone with no one else around after what happened the other day. So, what time do you want us out?"

"I'm not sure. Let me text Ash and see when he's free or when he'll be over okay. Well, I got to get back to class."

I hung up and walked back to class and texted Ash.

When will you be at my place to talk?

I walked back into the classroom and sat down. Mai and Tommy were done with the work as well as I was. We just sat there when I felt my phone vibrate.

To Beautiful Jen

At Four pm. Are the others going to be there?

From Ash

No.

Mai smiled and said, "So we're being kicked out tonight once he comes by then?"

I sighed and said "Yes. I don't what anyone to know what we are going to be talking about. I mean that nothing is going to happen between us, but I just don't want our conversation to get overheard and pass around and everyone knowing what we are talking about. I love everyone but lately they were way to pushy. You and Tommy have been the most understanding and Cassie has been drifting away and listening to everyone talk about me."

Tommy sighed and said, "She's only worried. She is just upset that you didn't tell her about the nightmares."

I knew he was right. I sighed and listened to what everyone else was saying for now anyways.
